Morgana Hotel Rome

Nous avons réservé une chambre en promotion dans cette hôtel en croyant avoir une chambre comme sur les photos de leur site, mais non. Nous avons eu une toute petite chambre, propre mais pas extraordinaire dans une annexe de l'hôtel...

le personnel de réception est désagréable au possible, il faut payer 10 euro par jour pour une connexion des plus hasardeuse et dans la chambre, la propreté est a revoir surtout dans la douche ou il y avait carrément des coulées de shampoing du précédent client. perso je n'y retournerai pas même si le petit déjeuner, lui, est copieux et agréable !

My friend and I enjoyed the hotel. The architecture itself had a real European feel, while the interior decor had been recently redone and was fresh and stylish. They served a generous breakfast buffet with offerings for every taste. The staff helped us out when necessary and were very thoughtful. We had a good quiet rest after long days of walking, climbing, and walking some more.

Das Hotel liegt neben dem Termini - die Gegend dort ist nicht so berauschend, dafür sind die Trattorias dort wesentlich billiger als in der Nähe der Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Hotel hat eine 24 Std. besetzte Rezeption und sie sind immer bemüht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Der Aufzug ist recht schmal. Zwei Personen und zwei Koffer gehen sich gerade aus. Das Frühstück ist mehr als ausreichend und sehr abwechslungsreich. Obst, Wurst, Käse, Eierspeise, Speck, Joghurt, Müsli, Säfte, usw. Wir hatten gottseidank eines von den renovierten Zimmern im 5. Stock zum Innenhof (Nr. 525). Minibar war zwar leer und beim Fernsehen gab es nur einen deutschen Sender (VOX), aber ansonsten waren wir mit dem Zimmer vollkommen zufrieden. Diese Hotel ist auf jeden Fall für eine Städtreise zu Empfehlen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für alle Besichtigungstouren und die nähe zum Termini ist top!

The room was typical, small and efficient. The A/C was not working. The gym was down the street from th hotel. They had laundry service, which sounded nice...until we got our bill for about 100 euros to wash some t-shirts, jeans, underwear and socks...RIDICULOUS!! And to make it better, some of our laundry was missing when it came back to us. It was later found though, with no apology. Hotel was fairly pricey for the poor service.

The hotel is located in a very comfortable 3 minutes walk from the Metro and train station and within walking distance of all historical sites in Rome. We arrived before the time of check in and welcome us even before time. Although the room is small, but those serving the following to visit the city, as well as the room was clean and pleasant, despite the proximity to the center of the hotel rooms are quiet and renovated. Dedicated counter staff and want to help with any question, even when we asked where the site did not recognize, immediately opened and examined Web. For review I read here on the copy made to your credit card, there is nothing to fear, that happens every hotel and it is acceptable, we check out the copy and we ran into problems.

The overall impression is of being cramped. From the elevator to the corridor to the room, everything seems designed for the delicate in stature. This causes one to overlook the benefits e.g the very helpful staff, the comfy bed, etc. It's close to termini but perhaps you'd be better off staying closer to the old town itself.

You can't beat a decent hotel (rooms were small but who's spending much time in the hotel anyway?) a block from the Termini rail station and within walking distance of the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and any number of museums, shops and restaurants.

The location and room were nice. It was easy to take the train in from airport and a short walk to the train station. It was also easy to walk to the tour buses they start their tours from the train station. The rooms were clean and staff was accommadating. However, wifi internet was 10EUR per day and there is a charge for breakfast. The one thing though is that even though your room was paid for, they take a photo copy of your credit card and have you sign a blank carbon copy of the credit card charge slip. I refused to sign the charge slip with the total not yet filled out. The person at check in insisted that the slip would be secure, but I saw a photo copy of someone's credit card on the counter where the numbers on the copy was visible from where I was standing. I told the person at the counter that they should be more secure with the photo copies of customers credit card, but the person seemed to be annoyed with my suggestion and insisted that I sign the unfilled credit slip. I refused and was prepared to call up orbitz if they refuse to give me a room. The manager then OK'ed to check-in without having to sign the slip. I'm just simply amazed at the lack of security with customers credit card numbers.

Great hotel, I stayed there for 6 nights and it was absolutely amazing ! About 2 blocks away from the termini which is amazing if you wanna go somewhere far. Not far from any of the big touristy locations like the collesseum, trevi, Spanish steps etc. I walked to all of those places. The staff is great and very helpful ( will even make resverations for you). They also have a very cute bar (wonderful bartender) and a happy hour buffet. Very clean and secure ! You can't go wrong with this hotel !!!!
