The Professor
Close to the Rome Airport
This was our second stay at the Mach 2. It is not a destination hotel but fine for a one-night stay when flying out the next day. We stay here because the price is right, there is an airport shuttle with frequent runs for 6.5 Euro, and the attached, modern restaurant is suprisingly good. The breakfast buffet is also generous. Coming in it is a 5-10 minute taxi ride from the Rome Airport. The rooms have been very small and our requested non-smoking room had obviously been smoked in. We were given only one towel and had to ask for a second one. It is located on a busy business street but the noise was not noticiable in the room. There is certainly nothing else in the area you would want to walk to.

We travel frequently but in our rush to catch the train to the airport from Rome Termini, we neglected to validate our tickets. As a result, the conductor fined us 50 Euro. Exorbitant and a poor ending to our stay.

Decent room for good price
The hotel was better than I expected, although the room was small, and the shower didn't drain. They had a very nice restaurant, which we went to for both lunch and dinner. We arrived late morning, but they allowed us to store our luggage (nine people!), and let us into the restaurant early. All in all, worth the money . . .

"Okay for one night"
The room was small. The twin bed mattresses were hard. Nothing around the hotel of interest. My husband and I walked the main street passing garages, gas stations and bleak buildings. There were a few restaurants, but not that appealing as was the large, but uninviting, hotel restaurant. Our walk did take us to a local grocery store which was helpful in supplying us with our food needs. The service at the hotel was adequate, but not noticeably friendly. The hotel's purpose was to provide a room, a bed and the basic amenities for those using the airport and this it did. It had a shuttle to the airport, but it was not operating for early morning flights that required that you get to the airport before 6:30AM.

Use the grocery store which is about 7 blocks down the main road toward town.

This property is satisfactory for a one night stay close to the airport, but no longer. The restaurant was closed the night we were there. There are shops and restaurants and a grocery store about one-mile away that is a safe walk. There is a huge, modern shopping center about 10 minutes away by very expensive taxi. A hotel shuttle provides transportation to and from the airport for $12 per person. Our room was plain and small.

Poor breakfast options
Our flight was very early and the hotel staff didn't have any early breakfast options. We had to beg for a croissant. The staff was not very friendly.

Value for money
It is clean, nice hotel for the money you spend. It is close to Rome international airport. I will revisit if i have a chance.

Close to airport
A very clean and well-run hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and quiet. The hotel is only a 5-minute taxi ride to the airport.

Although hotel has a restaurant, we decided instead to walk around the corner to a neighborhood restaurant. Excellent food and good prices with a friendly staff.
