Hotel Montreal Rome

Hôtel bien situé pour visiter Rome en toute tranquillité .Le personnel de l’accueil donne de bons conseils pour les visites et se restaurer quand on arrive le soir. Le bémol : la chambre donne sur un axe assez passager et la chaleur de la chambre . déjeuner assez copieux même si on ne s'attend pas à du café lyophilisé qui est du coup vraiment imbuvable.

We have this hotel for one night before going back home. Location is good if you want to stay close to Termini rail station and metro. The staff was helpful and the room and restroom were very decent size and clean. Don't know the quality of cont. breakfast- left before ( strating at 7:30 AM) The neighborhood is typical for being close to railstation but I feel safe and we had no problem .

Given the very competitive price I paid for the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. I think it's important, though, to know two things about many European hotels: generally the rooms are smaller then we're accustomed to here in US and the breakfasts are not as expansive. I foudn the room clean, the appointments were basic but useful and the location could NOT be beat. Overall, I'd certainly stay there again and this time I'll walk from the Termini station to the hotel instead of paying ten Euro for a cab. well worth it and all of the desk people were quite informative with info about the city.
