Flower Garden Hotel Rome

The price and location make this a great place to stay when in Rome. It is a couple of blocks from Termini which is very helpful when trying to take public transportation. The room is small and nothing special, but it was clean and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is just around corner from Termini rail station which is very convenient. However: smallest shower/bathroom I've ever been in. Air con didn't work, barely enough room to fit bed, breakfast was barely edible. Room was very dull and dusty. Why is this named the flower garden? I think I saw maybe one potted plant...stay only for location.

When I arrived it was very warm in Rome. I couldn't get the airconditioning to work in my room, since I have a degenerative brain disorder that causes me to need cooling most of the time. I was told that's it was too early to run the airconditions, that they have a new law that doens't allow them to run any airconditioning before a certain temperature. They would not provide me with a copy of this "law" to read myself. [...] Their solution was to finally put me on the shady side of the hotel but my whole 7 days and 6 nights was ruined by the excessive heat. In addition, my new room had bars on the bathroom and bedroom windows, making it a death trap if a fire was to occur. I felt like part of their attitude towards me was that I was an American. Hotel was close to everything I wanted to see but for $175/night I felt like it should have had A/C!! The sites in Rome were increadible but the hotel's customer service was a joke and my room's temperature was unbearable.

Great location near the metro and train station (from the train station can walk w/ your luggage). Also close to the Theater and lots of restaurants. Room was basic, A/C didn't work well, and staff service could be improved. Put out Do Not Disturb sign but cleaners still came in. Also denied late check out (like an hour later would have made a difference to them) Breakfast basic, no meat, just hard boiled eggs for protein, but still filling. For the price and location, it's not a bad deal.

This room is good for budget people and only need a clean place with bathroom. I had a single twin bed which was enough for me. The receptionist has been very helpful and informative. The breakfast is very simple.

Close to the termini which make it easy for travelling. Breakfast is good. Staff is helpful. Room is very clean except room temperature (air con) is fixed and not adjustable.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, die Ausstattung durchaus zweckmäßig. In der Dusche war weder Ablage noch Haltegriff. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr ordentlich, es gab sogar Teekannen, was gerade in Italien eher selten ist. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel.

The location is and easy walk from Termini station and far enough away from all the traffic. It is easy to catch a bus/metro/train, all within a 5 minute walk. The room is small which is common for many European hotels but sufficient when the only time spent in the room is to sleep and shower. There was a problem with getting hot water in the shower and the breakfast is just ok, boiled eggs, bread and cereal.
