Concordia Hotel Rome

Although we just came from Venice and had a hotel that was on a canal with gondolas parked under our window, the Concordia was delightfully located near the Spanish Steps and the Spagna Metro Station, plus we had a great wifi signal in our room which is a plus 1 in my book. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful and the room was kept neat and clean. Across the street were two very good restaurants and they were of good value. The breakfasts at the Concordia were nice and a great way to start the day. Only downside was there was very little room around the beds and the shower was small and cramped but both these issues were minor. I highly recommend this hotel for location, free wifi, location and location.

This hotel is located in between two metro stops and close to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The room was very small and the bed uncomfortable, but it provides a place to stay in location convenient to all the major tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and they provided tours for us. There is also a breakfast that is really nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Just don't expect a lavish room, just the essentials. Also make sure you book the hotel for the amount of people staying in the room. I booked a double room but accidentally for one person. They charged me 30 euros per night for an additional person in the room. Nothing changed the room and beds stayed the same so I thought that was a bit ridiculous... so don't make the same mistake.

The hotel was great for the price. More suited to handle single travelers or two people packing light. Short walk from the Trevi Fountain. The shower always had hot water. Beds are small but not too small to sleep on. I would recommend this hotel to those visiting Rome on a budget.
