Camping Village Rome

camping près du centre de Rome, près du Vatican, sur un grand axe la via Aurélia, en période de Noel, très calme, très agréable d'être dans un grand terrain arboré alors qu'on est en ville, parking sans problème à l'intérieur, bungalow simple propre avec tout ce qu'il faut, douche, wc, chauffage, clim, petit déjeuner pas cher et complet salé sucré buffet à volonté, un bon point de chute simple et pas cher pour visiter Rome

hotel propre, point info acceuillant parlant français, bungalow très petit, pas de cuisine, pensez à prendre des boules Quies, impossible de prendre une douche le matin eau trop froide, eau chaude juste au lavabo mais le soir il y a de l'eau chaude à la douche, supermarché + arret de bus devant le camping.

The worst restaurant ever waited ages for our meal when it arrived one was missing & the other was cold even the replacement was not any better. You cant make a meal in your Chalet as there is no oven or microwave or even a kettle only a gas hob. Sat Night was really noisy with shouting & screaming late into the night and early morning same on Sunday you could not drown out the noise by turning up the TV as there is none. If you have a mobility problem there is no facilities to help you get to your unit as all the cabins chalets are on a higher level lots of steps to climb you can go by road but it is a steep hill Sorry if this contradictory to other views but that's how I saw it

Great experience, the staff was very helpful and friendly (not like the typical italians). We arrived way earlier before our check in and they were able to accommodate us at no extra charge. We had 9 bags!! One of us was moving and they were kind to help even with carrying luggage at the middle of the night when we had to check out for our flight. Its away from the city, very quiet. Just what you need after a long day of visiting Rome. Would def. recommend. Its not not fancy but very clean, nice and for the price I would live there! :)

This camping village offers something for everybody; I stayed two nights in a bungalow and one night in a chalet. The 4-person bungalow was small but very "practical". It had one double bed and one bunk bed. Nice bathroom, decent beds, cold A/C, and felt safe (locking cabinets/doors). Already a great value for the price. The chalet, was even better. It has a full suite with king bed and a second suite with one double bed and one bunk bed, can sleep up to six people! In addition, it also has a fully equipped kitchen and both an indoor and outdoor "dining area". For the value, it just doesn't get any better... you'd probably pay hundreds more for a room with this many amenities elsewhere. The camping village itself has many other great things, such as the market, restaurant, and nightclub.

It was a nice alternative to traditional hotel staying, especially if you are the camping type. The bungalows were clean and efficient, but not roomy. They are attached to others, so they can move as other people go in and out etc. But that wasn't a big issue for me. A lot of young people there from around europe in groups to party. They were respectful and shut down at bit after midnight so it was absolutely quiet throughout the night. Good outdoor recreation and fun atmosphere, would do it again for sure.

Great place for the money. Very clean and very well kept. Lots of younger people but absolutely no problem with noise easy to get back and forth to by bus to metro. Staff very helpful. Very pleased and surprised at camp ground condition. Lots of walking up hill to get to the sight if you did not drive.

We rent a chalet, with two bathrooms. There was a problem with the hot water in the shower (of both bathrooms) that they were unable to solve. They didn't worry very much about it and didn't propose an alternative solution. It's mandatory to check out at 10am, but for the check in, you can do it after 12pm. We arrived at 4pm and we had to wait for 45 minutes for the chalet to be ready. It should be ready at 12am but it was not. Why do they worry so much about check out time and don't worry in the same way for the check in time?

When we asked to have our Son and family shifted to a Bungalow closer to us, they were very obliging, and willingly made it happen. We found the service in the information centre slow at times because of lack of staff, but they were friendly and helpful to deal with.
