The hardest bed we slept in out of 5 different hotels!!!
The hardest best in all of 5 hotels we stayed at in italy!! tiny room, great location!, great breakfast in the morning (included), loved their coffee! The hotel was very loud! You could hear everything!!! People talking, walking, flushing toilets...etc... didn't get much sleep. TIP: in the evening....head out of the front door and go left - towards the fountain, which you MUST see at night, there is a street very close by that has lots of entertainment and great places to eat with live music and shopping.... we enjoyed this. There was one staff member who went out of her way (Anna) but everyone else appeared to be too busy to help us.....

Great location but....
We chose this hotel because of its location and inclusive breakfast. Neither of which disappointed. Within 30min of arriving at the hotel we were armed with a map and walking shoes. Located within a half block from the Trevi Fountain was a huge treat and we walked almost 20% of the city that evening. The Continental bfast was better than I had expected. The down side of the hotel had me counting down to check out. Our room was on the 3rd fl. Approaching the room we noticed the hallway walls were dirty which immediately left a bad taste. The hallway and room had a bit of a dingy smell but the room for the most part was clean. Typical Euro hotel room = small. The bed was extremely HARD. We were in more pain from sleeping than from walking all of Rome. Bedspreads and furniture were old. The wash cloths were thin and larger than hand towels. I would love to know if this is an Italian type wash cloth or if the hotel was being cheap. Either way it was the same type of towel set out for the bidet. Ewww. Hallway noise was so clear the bed should have been in the hallway. We could not get comfortable and we did not rest well at all.

Cafe's are all over. We stumbled upon a supermarket only a few blocks from the hotel which enabled us to get water, snacks, meds, etc without paying an arm and leg.

good location
Great location, good staff, quaint ceilings with exposed bricks and wood beams. Nice bathroom, rich wood appointments, real safe in closet, clean. Small room (typical of Rome), window onto noisy pedestrian street without light blocking curtains (noise got much better when it started raining and the people got scared inside), hard bed. But good value for the price compared to other pricing.

Lose the office desk.
Booked on advice of another guest review. Notice! They do not have Valet parking. The front desk will call a driver to come pick your car up and park it for you. Storage fee is 30 Euro a day and they will drop the car back of when you need it. Only needed it for two days so not terrible considering the low cost of the room and the excellent breakfast included. The office desk/TV stand and fridge were unnecessary and their removal would have added 12 sq. ft. to the room. A bit cramped, but the firm beds were surprisingly comfortable. A/C worked great, but the shower drain was a bit slow. Make sure you ask for two room keys since one is used for keeping the lights on. I had to run out while my wife stayed in the room and realized I couldn't take the key with me. Take advantage of the buy one get one free drink at the News Cafe next door with a glass of Persecco. The Restaurant on the right of the Hotel has a fantastic Lingiune with wild boar and truffle.

Ristorante Virginiae in the Navona district. The menu is multi-ligual and the food is authentic and fantastic. No Pizza on the menu which keeps the families with toddlers away. 53 Euro for Spaghetti Carbonara, Bucatini alla Americana, 1.5 Carafe house red, Antipasta, Vitello Saltimbocca, Tiramisu Di Casa, Caffe, sparking water, and complimentary Limoncello.

comfortable spot
the hotel is a comfortable and reasonably priced (at least when I was around). I couldn't say the staff where incredibly friendly, but they were resourceful all around, and the valet parking service was extremely useful for me, as I was there with a car.

Perfect Rome Location
Location was perfect and easy to get to from both the train station and airport. Taxis were also easy to find. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spotless and well-maintained. Free breakfast buffet was a wonderful addition. Our only complaint was internet fees. The hotel was so close to the Trevi Fountain but tucked away enough to be quiet at night. We always felt safe and secure in both the hotel and the location. Hotel was within walking distance to almost everything!!!! We were able to walk to great restaurants, landmarks, shopping, entertainment, transportation, etc. We would definitely return to this hotel and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

Fantastic location near Trevi Fountain
Location of this hotel cannot be beat! About one block from the Trevi Fountain - which is what made the room noisy with all the foot traffic to and from the Fountain. Staff was not particularly friendly, or helpful. Example, I was there to pick up my daughter who had been in Rome since January in school and the staff just stood there and watched while my petite daughter struggled to get a very heavy bag into the hotel, while I struggled with another one. Granted, these were bags we picked up from her school's storage a few days after we checked in, but they offered NO assistance to two women who were obviously having some difficulty. The deskman was standing outside smoking, but just stood by and watched! Spotty wi-fi (that you have to pay for) and no printer available for boarding passes, etc. Would only recommend this hotel because of its unbeatable location.

First Visit to Rome
First Visit to Rome
I was expecting a tiny toom based on other hotel reviews. The room was clean and spacious enough for two adults and large suitcases. The location is unbeatable. Just steps away from the Trevi Fountain. All landmarks are within walking distance. The front desk staff is not necessarily unfriendly, but they don't go that extra mile. [...] At night it can be a bit noisy with groups of young people singing in the street or the street sweepers, but overall this was an excellent choice. I would recommend to a friend and would go back.

Short walk from hotel
For those on a tight budget given the high cost of everything, there is a little market around the corner of the Trevi Fountain. You can buy water, snacks, wine and sandwiches and have a picnic at the Trevi Fountain instead of splurging on a big lunch or dinner.

Hotel Accademia, Rome
Hotel was nice enough, but not outstanding. Front desk staff ok, but not terribly knowledgeable about tourism options.
