Rex Hotel Florence

Chambre au 1er étage empestant la nourriture de mauvaise qualité, mauvaise odeur qui commence dans le couloir. Impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres qui donnent sur des arrière-cours pleines de détritus et sur des cuisines. Chambre exigüe, sans mini-bar, avec un clignotant rouge au plafond. Climatisation bruyante impossible à mettre en marche. On ne devrait pas proposer de telles locations.

Great location and very lovely and helpful staff! Breakfast is small but good, and there is a great cafe around the corner if you aren't satisfied with the hotels selection. The rooms are small if you're spending a lot of time in the hotel, but fine for sleeping. Looks a little drab in the rooms but for the price, location, and staff it's a great place to stay!

The hotel was nice and was close to everything. I have lived in Europe so I know what to expect from a hotel and this outshines the others that I have had in the area.

The Hotel rex is centrally located in the San Lorenzo district on the doorstep of a fabulous market. The hotel is comfortable, clean and value for money. It is not a modern hotel and the tv didn't work very well but the breakfast was great and with 2 young children it was the perfect place to stay.

Just around the corner from the Medici Chapel at San Lorenzo, a 5 minute walk to the Duomo. Quiet, clean, comfortable, with friendly staff.

hotel is well run, accommodating. [...] at front desk was very helpful. Hotel is old and a bit worn, but is quiet and has a comfortable feel to it. Well located; walk to everything in Florence. Buffet breakfast is good.

Hotel Rex is in a great location - very close to the train station and town center. That said - (1) bathroom maintained a terrible odor (2) our room had no outside view (3) carpet was stained (4) wondered if the sheets had been washed (5) tub / shower was unclean (6) breakfast was substandard. This has nothing to do with being an European hotel & differences with U S Hotels. It was not up to par

Booked to attend a conference at the Fortezza Conference Center. Outstanding location - 5 minute walk to the Conference Center, the main railroad station and the Duomo. On a pedestrian street, but noisy Irish bar across the street. Tiny bathrooms - need to climb over the toilet to get into the shower. The bathroom was very clean and fresh towels every day, but the bedroom was a little worn down.

Cleaner and classier than expected. Great breakfast staff. No problem left luggage service. Small rooms had more features than expected making up for the size. Very convienent to train station and all of town. Would book again!

Itstarted out fine for 3 days. Then they made my niece and I change to a smaller room because "they needed our room." The new room was extremely small and had no working tv for news. The noise outside was the worst I've ever had in any hotel in all my travels; it's across from an Irish Pub!!!!!!!
