Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley

We were told we could check in early as our flight arrived at 5:30am. We phoned at 9am just to be sure and were told we could check in at 10am. We arrived at the hotel and were told it would be 11am. At 1pm, they finally said we would be checking in at 2pm. We had two 8 year old girls so this was not acceptable. We blew a fuse in the electric outlets when the hairdryer was plugged in. We were told it would be fixed that night, Friday. It was finally fixed on Monday after several calls to the front desk. No credit given for this inconvenience. No tissues in room. Room was extremely hot. STAFF in the entire hotel were extremely rude!

The gym facilities are fantastic, treadmills, sauna, steam room, a large pool however the room was very cold and no heat available.

The Hotel was fine. No Air Conditioning and it was just the bare minimum of everything. There was a blow dryer in the room which was nice and free wifi in the lobby. But for the price I paid I can't really complain. Within walking distance to a mall and resturant

this hotel is good value and not too far from dublin city centre if your familiar with the roads. theres a great shopping mall across the road.

The hotel was disappointing, when checking in we were left to stand for 5 minutes while 2 staff members discussed something - no explanation was given and offhand apologies was offered when they finally got round to dealing with us, this set the course for the entire stay as the acknowledgment from staff was usually grudging the showers are a death trap, even while using the bath mat as advised i fell and hurt myself. the double bed was actually 2 single beds put together...which was unconformable and annoying for a couple on our honeymoon, you are charged 4 euro's a day to park..there were often bags of rubbish left in the corridors...the list of problems can go on and on

Everything at the hotel was great, except for a few things. Parking at the hotel over 3 hours is charged 4 euros. The full Irish breakfast is good, but is not included with the room, and is 10 euros each. The double superior room has twin beds put together, which leaves a gap down the middle, and are quite hard matresses. (not firm, but hard!) The positives were the excellent maid service, wired internet in the room (Wireless is available in the lobby-free), very clean rooms, adjacent fitness center with jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms. The Liffey valley mall is within walking distance. It has a Starbucks, and several food court places to eat. The staff was very friendly, and eager to help. Easy access to Motorways from the hotel.

Lovely hotel with nearby shopping center, cinema, nightclub/pub and fitness center with water slide for family outing. Stayed here again for weekend break as it's simply better priced, quite and with access to the above.

Excellent Stay, good value for money Clean and comfortable

It was great! They upgraded us to a suite for free for all five nights of our stay because it was my birthday. It was a little far from the city, about a 20 euro cab ride from Dublin city center. Other than that it was a great experience! No free computer use was kind of a bummer though.

the hotel was o.k. the only problem I had was having to pay for parking each day.
