Clarion Hotel Dublin Airport

maybe a 3-star hotel, but not 4-star. Old furnitures, old design of the room, no lift

It's easy to walk/roll your luggage from Terminal 1 or 2 to this hotel, which has a nice lounge and restaurant open until fairly late. There's also a more Irish-style pub/restaurant across the street at the Radisson Blu. The Clarion's rooms are small and not fancy, but they're clean and quiet yet not essential. A coffee/tea maker would be great. For a token 1 euro charge, a ride can be scheduled on the 24-hour shuttle if you don't feel like hoofing it to your flight. The staff is welcoming and helpful, and the place always seems lively.

Reception staff friendly and efficient, hotel ideal for access to the airport and early mornign flight (terminal a short walk). bedroom looked clean and tidy but the finishes are very grubby, bathroom again looked clean but not properly cleaned (watermarks everywhere) which just makes you think what else looks clean but really isn't.

Great location for flights in and out or to pick up rental car. Good bar and food to relax at end of day. Great help from the staff

small superior double room,breakfast expensive$110 for family of five was charged 2 euro for shuttle that we did not use and was surprised with a 7.5 euro parking charge

Everything was great, expect for one very importand mishap. I was flying out early morning to Australia and I requested an early morning call for 6.30 which I did not receive.pity because everything else was of a high standard. Kind regards. Nuala mc carthy.

We selected this hotel because of its proximity to the Airport. We didn't want any last minute problems during our trip back to the US. Very welcoming staff. No lift to second floor room. Only wi-fi was in the lobby unless you wanted to upgrade to Business class, which was extra. That wasn't in the hotel description when we booked it. Food was good but a bit expensive, even for a hotel. You had to pay extra for the business computer if you wanted to print out a boarding pass, for example. They even charged for the transport to the airport!

Every thing was well except that there were NO wash cloths and TV information.

I was pleasantly pleased with this room. It was clean with a nice size bed and bathroom, and was just around the block from the Dublin Airport although they also had a shuttle you could take for 1 E. The only thing I did not like was you could hear clearly anyone talking in the hallway and/or shutting their door. Other than that, good value and accommodation. I didn't try the restaurant or bar so cannot say about those.
