Clarion Hotel Dublin Airport

Comfortable, clean and well presented hotel for a very reasonable price. Staff were helpful and were able to provide me a room with free wi-fi. Best thing however is the location - a 6 minute walk from Terminal 2.

As we checked in the front desk seemed uninterested. Our room had a broken refrigerator, broken pants press, no iron as advertised, and worst of all a broken bed. The mattress was broken along the edge in the middle. I was able to sleep in the center of the bed. The wait staff was extremely courteous. When we arrived home we discovered that we had been billed twice for the same amount. The hotel does not know how this happened and suggested we must have used our card other places. However, they were the only ones that we gave our Debit Card to. Plus the amount was the same twice. We are attempting to resolve this.

It was an adequate hotel to spend one night before the flight. It offers nothing more than a room. Surprisingly however the hotel did not provide free transportation to the airport terminal.

I liked the food and the different tours they had of Dublin and other cities as well.

The hotel was ok for what it was, a hotel right by the airport. The room was nothing special. There was actually a good amount of mold accumlating in the shower that was pretty disgusting and there was a large chunk of carpeting missing from the floor right as you walked into the room. Additionally, I had one of the desk clerks try to con me into having "someone help with the luggage because there was no lift." Fortunately, I ran into another employee who was happy to show me the luggage lift.

Great receptionists. Very helpful and friendly. Service at the bar was very slow. I waited 38 minutes for an order of chicken wings! Corridors are very low and dark. I hit my head on the exit signs. My room was not very clean. Carpet had many stains. Curtains were not hanging correctly. Light bulbs were missing from light fixtures. Very mediocre hotel and definitively not a four-star hotel!

Visited some Dublin spots. The reception people were great. They were very helpful with some sightseeing concerns. The problems were that we received no washcloths, the replacement toilet tissue roll was so dirty and gross, that we couldn't have used it. We only stayed one night, and when we started to get ready to go to the airport, we couldn't take a shower as it didn't work at all. For the most part the room was very clean and comfortable. I was a little concerned that the comforter hadn't been cleaned after the last guests. There were no sheets on the bed!

We arrived late and had an early morning departure. Our shower was unusable as we were unable to control the temperature; it was scalding water only. Not only was there no compensation as I had prepaid through my [...]reservation, what they don't tell you is that the shuttle ride to the airport costs one euro per person. Otherwise, we would have been very happy with the accommodations. As it was, the experience was disappointing because we did not receive what we paid for.

The public ares are fine, but the room (348) is badly neglected. The floor and one bedside light did not work. The table top is badly marred. Only one set of towels anywhere. The rings from the previous shower curtain are still on the rod, looking rather useless. The sink faucet is so loose that I wonder when it will come off entirely. Pillows were pancakes. Breakfast 15 euros. The bus shuttle cost 1 euro. Try the Ramada across the street.

The floor was more comfortable than the bed, even after being moved to a new room. Nothing else matters to me if the bed is uncomfortable. The bed had a mountain range hump going down the middle of the bed. 2nd time staying with Clarion, second time terrible. Never again, yes it was cheap, but a false economy. I thought being close tot he airport was a good idea, but the shuttle is NOT free and I recon any of the other hotels would have been better.
