Hotel met expections for most part
The hotel met my expectations for the most part. Our luggage did not get delivered to our room inspite of calling up the front desk and then having to go down to the front desk. It took about 2 hours for them to deliver the luggage and it was a problem because we were travelling with a 2 year old. The dining restaurent was very good and the service was excellent. Ask for the Taj view rooms only as thats what makes this hotel special with the view of the Taj from the hotel rooms on the higher floors. Will stay again at this hotel.

Ask for the Taj view rooms only as thats what makes this hotel special with the view of the Taj from the hotel rooms on the higher floors.

Short drive from hotel
Agra is packed with craftsmen and crafty men who are selling white marble with precious stone inlay work. Please go to at least three different stores before buying anything. The price DO vary significantly from store to store.

Excellent Service, Comfortable Stay
The Gateway staff were all very welcoming and attentive. The hotel has attractive room that are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The restaurant is very good for breakfast or dinner, and the grounds are an attractive oasis in the chaos of Agra. The area around the hotel can be loud at night but that is the tradeoff for having a view of the Taj Mahal. We would definitely stay there again.

Classic Heritage hotel
Loved the hotel decor and location. Staff was friendly and the Both Sales and General Manager did a very good job with one small issue we had.

Clean, convenient, close to Taj Mahal
October 2010 traveling around Rajasthan with my family. 1 Night stop on a very clean and convenient hotel (considering local standards...). It corresponds to a good 3 stars hotel in EU or US.

"Good deal for the price"
Very well located, just an easy ride to the Taj Mahal. The rooms could use a little update. Hotel in general was very nice. A great place to come back from after the hassle of the city. If you are going to Agra, definetely a good place to stay.

Gateway Hotel Fatehabad
The hotel was fantastic. Other than staying in a room facing the Taj Mahal. We strongly recommend asking for car service from the hotel if you can swing it. Our driver was well spoken and knew the area well. Additionally he consistently watched out for our safety. So from the room to the concierge service this hotel gets high marks.

Good, basic accommodations
We were quite content with the room. The shower was the best we've had in our 11 days in India. The restaurant tried to overcharge us twice. Make sure you check or food bill. They tried charge us with 2 bottles of wine when we only had 2 glasses of wine.
