Ideally Located
This is an truly upscale hotel - modern, luxurious, comfortable. The staff are great and speak English. The amenities are fine.I ate in their restaurant a few times and thought the food was great and the service fine. I would strongly recommend it to anyone. And one of the great things is the location - you are right at the foot of the Chain Bridge, so you can walk to Buda and the sights there in no time, and there is a tram in front of the hotel and the subway is only a few blocks away, so its super easy to get anywhere. And there are always nice cabs in front of the hotel, too.

Short walk from hotel
I don't like to use hotel minibars, so I usually stock up my room with some beverages, candy and snacks. There is 24-hour convenience store on the street to your left as you exit the hotel - its just a few doors up before you get to the post office - which was fine for my needs. But if you go up the street the hotel entrance is on there are two very nice food stores within two or three blocks, and they have a fine selection of Hungarian wines.

Excellent Romantic Break
Our welcome to the Hotel was warm and very helpful with great advice on local attractions. The Hotel is very comfortable and extremely clean and well presented. Situated at the Chain Bridge we had an excellent view of the Chain Bridge and Royal Palace, which was a picture at night. A big thank you to the staff as we had a very enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this Hotel

Great hotel & view of city
We did the hop-on, hop-off tour which was a great way to see the city.

Internet crashed on room TV and
Internet crashed on room TV and was never operable. Housekeeping was very slow. No face washers were supplied and had to ask daily for some toweling. Irons were leaking water (replaced 3 times but they still leeked). Had to ask for coffee satchells in the room most days. Electric power plug and computor wall connector falling off wall. One lift was out of order most days.

Everything about our stay in this
Everything about our stay in this hotel was positive. It is clean, quiet and ideally located. The staff could not have been more helpful. I would stay here again without any hesitation.

Great amenities but they did not
Great amenities but they did not work. The music system looked great but did not work I reportedbthis only to be told there is nothing they can do as it was Sat. The air con did not work 36deg and the room was unbearably hot again there was nothing they could do it was after all Saturday. English tv consisted of CNN sky news and BBC news. Pay per view $20.00 movie old movies Mini bars are always expensive but this hotel takesmthis to a new level. We spoke to people staying at the intercontinental who were veer happy. So I guss I will stay there next time. Can not recommend his hotel.

Great location
This is an excellent hotel and the service was great except for one exception. To get ice, you had to call room service. One night it took 1 1/2 hours to get the ice. By that time, my guests had departed. I called several times but nothing seemed to work. The Business Center staff was exceptionally helpful. They let me use the services for short email checks and helped me when I couldn't figure things out. The concierge staff was terrific, helping me with tours, church information, airport transportation, etc. The breakfast buffet was very expensive with no alternative. I ended up going to the grocery store and eating in my room.

The shuttle bus from the airport and return is a good value compared to a cab. On each trip there was only one other stop.

Great river vue
Riverview room was excellent value. Would happily stay here again, as the location is very pleasant for morning or evening walk along the Danube.
