Kimberley Hotel Hong Kong

Fantastic location majes up for the "okay" but unimpressive service. Room was extremely small but oh well it is HK. However, bathroom could be better - peeling paint and moldy looking fixtures. Reception service was unremarkable. And no free wifi :(

Room has bare necessities. Good location. Nothing fancy about the room. Housekeeping cleans the room everyday. Ok place to stay if you are only going to sleep in the room. Also, no safe in the room.

This is in a great location. However, the rooms are old and need an upgrade. Plenty of restaurants in the area and easy access to transportation.

I have stayed at the Kimberely Hotel many times and always find myself coming back. Although the hotel lacks much of the charm you may find at other much more expensive hotels, I find a good value for the money. Since much of time is out of the room it is more than adequate for my needs. The location is excellent and the staff is wonderful as well. There are no hassles with a quick and easy experience during check in and check out. Just what I need for business travel.

Hotel should provide free wifi. Concierge service is very helpful. Extra bed service should be shown on the website.

Good hotel in a good location 2 blocks from train underground and Maccas KFC Burger King and many other restraunts.10 minutes walk to temple street night markets.Shops all around u. would stay there again,good size rooms. Discounts available from shops for staying there.

One of my favorite hotels in HKG. I have stayed here on at least 6 occasions when I am in HKG privately and they never fail to please. I am Airline Staff/Crew so am used to good hotels and this one measures up - Have reccomended to friends and they also have been complimentary of the Kimberley Location, location, location - right in the heart of TST, but not too noisy. Ask for a room on the upper levels. Reasonable value, nice selection of foods and bevs at reasonable prices and a small comfortable bar for happy hour ! Some rooms are in need of basic refurbishment, but are clean and comfortable. Beds are firm, as in most of Asia, but rooms are well serviced daily, mini-bar etc Front desk is helpful and obliging as were the Concierge, Peter, and his staff. Only two small issues: 1. No wi-fi in rooms (there is a small business centre only for internet access) 2. No chairs or benches in the Concierge area to sit on whilst waiting for Airport Bus or Limo pickup

The location is super good, but that is where it ends for this hotel. The upgraded me to the "suite", and it is not so sweet - really dated rooms, the bed is very uncomfortable, the toilet is the bathroom didn't work, shower is NOT good, there is no elevator to the floor they put us on so you have to take the stairs, paint is peeling off the wall, carpets are super dirty... the list goes on. If you are trying to find a cheaper hotel, take your chances somewhere else. This place is a dud. I really hate to be that guy that leaves bad reviews, but I wish I would have read the other reviews before booking.
