Millennium Hotel Paris Opera

l'hôtel est bien placé ce qui est son principal atout. Pour le reste, les chambres sont vieillottes, robinetteries qui fuient, peintures écaillées, ... Nous n'avions pas de sèche cheveux dans la chambre ; on nous en a amené un qui ne marchait pas puis il a fallu vraiment insister pour qu'on finisse par nous transférer dans une chambre qui possédait un sèche cheveux !

Great staff...always willing to help. Great location for shopping and metro. Nice looking lobby and restaurant. Original room was small so upgraded to a junior suite... almost double the size and very comfortable.

During my visite to the Hotel Millennium i was without any probleme.

The sparkling picture of this hotel found online didn't quite match my experience. The hotel has a lot going for it - close to two big Paris department stores - Galeries Lafayette and Printemp - and the major shopping street of Rue Faubourg St Honore. A short walk to the Louvre. But...this hotel is close to working class neighborhoods. Some of the side streets near the hotel are a bit sketchy and smelled like urine. The hotel itself is okay. The staff was not too attentive. The room was small - I had booked a standard room with 2 twin beds - but the bathroom was decent sized for Paris. The room as well as the hotel is in need of a facelift. The room was okay - it needs a few things to make it great - new furniture, a thorough cleaning (gobs of dust on the walls near the curtains) and new mattresses and the attention of handyman. You can see holes in the wall where the curtain tiebacks had come out and instead of fixing the holes, new holes were made. There was a line of holes in the wall! Breakfast was okay - expensive and you had to practically tackle the staff to get coffee. The stair runner going upstair was loose in spots. The furniture in the lobby is comfortable but worn.

The hotel was located perfectly for everything to see in Paris. Upgraded to a suite for television and sitting purposes, however they could never get the television to work after 4 days and 10 calls. It was a technical issue. Beds are for sleeping not watching the news. In the end after some harsh words the up-charge was removed. Room service is very poor and you have to wait at least 1 hour for a bucket of ice. Other than that, I would probably stay at this hotel again.

Stayed four nights. Excellent, central location. Safe area. Close to subway. Clean and comfortable room. Good bathroom. Staff very helpful. Only complaint was the to soft mattress.

Hotel is in a good location. It is a bit of a walk to the major attractions. The staff is friendly but don't rely on them for information as they gave us the wrong info for when the louve opens. Also they weren't very helpful with tips. Room is clean and the bathroom had towel warmers. I got free internet and free wifi while I was there. Elevators are small so if your checking out be sure to a lot extra time as it took a while before we were able to fit in with our big luggage.

Eher wenig Kleideraum, nur ein kleindes Schrank ist für zwei zu wenig.

Had a great concierge, knew the restaurants, worked hard to satisfy, gave us us his favorite, it was excellent. The hotelneeds some updatint and a clock in room

Good location as the Metro (underground railway) is right outside the hotel and very convenient to get around. Just ask which stop to get off to get anywhere you need to go. Local market, Monoprix, on next street over, for snacks and fresh foods to keep on stock in hotel room and for on-the-go quick snacks. Wireless access free and 110V outlet provided, but just one. Nice staff, friendly and helpful, but you need to be specific as to what you want to see or suggestions from them. They won't tell you unless you ask.
