Great hotel.... Would stay here again!
We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. There were 3 of us in the room, and we had two single beds and a pull out couch. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great. It's in a quiet section of Paris, and the metro in right on the corner. Three days a week there is a market right out front with fresh fruits, breads and other items. On the corner is carrfour market, where you can buy anything from water to batteries. The staff is very helpful with directions and information. We did not eat at the hotel, so I can not give any information on that. We would definately stay here again. Great location and price.

Don't rent a car...use the metro for everything. Very easy to use. We bought a 5 day pass for 29.90 euros. Keep you wallet/pocketbook in front of you as pick pocketing in Paris is very big (didn't happen with us). If you are traveling with children under 12, make a photo copy of passport and keep with you. There are some attractions that will give you a price discount if you can prove the age of your child. (Versailles is free for kids under a certain age with proof... and the Eiffel tower gives a discount) Have fun!!

Cute Hotel
This hotel is really simple, clean and nice. Its on a very lively street. The staff spoke really good English. They are helpful in giving tips for the metro or for what do to locally as well. The rooms are nice sizes, I was not cramped at all. The lights in the hallways are timed so don't be alarmed! If you have a window facing the street, other wise, your view may be bad. Overall, I was happy with my choice!

Lots of corner cafes and restaurants just right outside. And once you began walking, of course there are plenty more, but many right along the street. And there are two metro stations that are super close.

Fantastic location with accessibility
This hotel meets the basic 3-star hotel. Friendly staff who speak and understand English language are a big plus for us. The location is simply great; easy access via the metro and bus and great, reasonably-priced restaurants nearby. The room is large enough, but the climate control is problematic (we couldn't lower the temperature below 20 celcius or so.

Mercure Paris Place d' Italie
Quaint hotel with perfect sized rooms...not to big, not too small. Very helpful staff. Cool neighborhood with a market outside twice per week. Pretty good cafes around. Internet cafe not too far away.
