Beautiful hotel in beuatiful location
Traveling to one of the worlds most romantic cities on your own can be a bit daunting, I wanted to stay in hotel that had the romance and charm of the city but without it being too much. I chose the Les Fontaines Du Luxembourg as it is a boutique hotel in an amazing location but with lots of great design touches. I couldn't have asked for more. The building is traditional of the area and still has many of the original features like exposed beams. The rooms are small, which is typical of Paris, but well designed and laid out. The location is near the lovely Jardin du Luxembourg and near the Latin quarter great for bistro's, independent stores, and great for wondering the small streets. Highly recommended.

Long walk from hotel
Save on the metro tickets and make the most of the city by taking a walking tour. There are lots to download and a great way to see the sites, though make sure you take comfortable shoes!

Beautifully decorated rooms. Apparently all rooms are different. Service was great during our 3 days stay. Many Japanese restaurants in the area and good south-west french restaurant at the corner of the street 25 m away.
