The hotel is well run the staff is well trained in helping the client.

Overall, this is a lovely hotel. The staff is very friendly and they all speak English extremely well. The deluxe room we stayed in was charming and roomy for European standards. The bathroom was well laid out, and contained a bath and separate shower (cascading). Only a couple of issues...first, the shower was not draining properly and we needed to rush through our showers in order to avoid it from overflowing into the bathroom. I would say this was most likely an isolated incident, but we had to call 3 times to get someone to finally come and fix it. It was not until the third day that it was fixed. Second issue was that although there was plenty of front desk staff, there was no separate concierge area. There was sometimes a concierge available to help, but other times there was not. We asked some very basic tourist questions and did not always get the most accurate advice. For example, we were told that if we went to the Eiffel Tower and ate lunch in the cafe, we would not need to wait in the lines. We asked if we would be able to just walk into the cafe without a reservation and the concierge told us that this was the case. Upon arriving at the Tower, we realized that all of this info was incorrect. As I stated before, the staff was extremely nice, and I would not have even mentioned this issue if this had been the only incident. There were a couple of others! Finally, we had a cold buffet included in our price, and this was a plus. The breakfast is served in a lovely room and the staff in the restaurant was great. The buffet was good, but not too big. If it is included it is a good deal, however if it is not, the buffet is quite expensive and I would not necessarily recommend spending the money on it.
