Great location, cozy quarters.
My sister and I visited this hotel for a weeklong stay in Paris. The location is great, central to everthing, lots of shopping, food, and never feels lonely. The hotel is clean and modern but the rooms are pretty tight and cozy. The main downside was the 5E/day/device wifi charge. The wifi was only on the first floor lounge but since we were on floor 1 we could scrape by from the room. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient.

Strange setup
Be warned - the room we had at this hotel had a glass window dividing the bedroom and bathroom. There was a flimsy roll up blind on the window but this did not offer any privacy - one could see straight into the bathroom. It was also very expensive for this class of hotel but this could be because we went the week between xmas and new year so it was very busy. The room was very dark, the lighting was very poor.

5 day paris trip
Spent 5 nights at this hotel.. It's location was excellent. Just down the street from Saint Michel Fountain and Seine River. 5min. walk to Notre Dame.. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants in the area.. Hotel interior and rooms are modern, size is very good for Paris, very clean and quiet.. Shower was excellent.. Staff extremely helpful.. Rooftop view is fantastic.. No gym, but was not expecting one.. Great hotel to stay, price is good.. Would definitely stay again..

Affordable & Great Location
The Holiday Inn PARIS-NOTRE DAME is in a great location! Easily accessible from the St. Michel Metro and RER stops, it is only a couple of blocks away from Notre Dame and about a 15 minute walk from the Lourve. ROOM: The hotel is very modern and looks to be recently updated. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and shower was nice with water spraying from the wall as well as from above. The hidden gem was the terrace on the roof which has a great view of the Eiffel Tower. It was quite enjoyable to ring in the new year on the terrace. HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here if you can.

Terrific Location
The hotel was great and two principle strengths. One, the location was incredible. Half a block to the Metro and walking distance to the Louvre. Second, the staff was great. The evening guys who work the counter can get reservations, address room needs and have a great attitude. The day girls are a little colder but generally helpful.

the hotel is located in the middle of the city..the best location ever! It is right next to the metro and you can't ask for more. The room is small but very nice and clean.

Great location and staff; small rooms
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - the location was perfect for a first visit to Paris - the hotel is in the heart of the Latin Quarter and steps away from a metro/RER stop so getting around the city and also to/from the airport was a breeze. The rooms are neat and clean, but just know that the standard size room is very small. By American hotel room standards, I mean VERY small. However, we had a wonderful balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower, which was great, and again the location is fabulous. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. They all spoke English (our French is, sadly, terrible). All in all a very good experience!

Wow! Great hotel, perfect location
This was my first trip to Europe - the hotel location was perfect! We walked ALL of Paris, and the location in the Latin Quarter/Place St. Michel was perfect. Holiday Inn Notre Dame was a great hybrid of American/European hospitality. Rooms were modern and clean. Bedroom/bathroom were very small, but you're not spending an entire week in Paris in your room, are you? View from rooms was of other buildings, but accessible rooftop offered great view of city. Staff was very helpful and proficient in English. Downside - Our first night, we were awoken by leak through our bathroom ceiling. We had to move to room across hall. Bathroom space is very tight; some extra small shelves to hold toiletries/toothbrushes would have been nice. Internet access is rather expensive; if your wireless carrier has international plan, make sure you take care of internet access on your mobile phone well in advance of your stay (I was too late with Verizon Wireless). Continental breakfast available for 9 Euro; full breakfast for 19 Euro. There is a small market next door where you can buy fruit/snacks/soda. You should be eating at one of the many cafes/brasseries/bistros/boulangeries nearby anyway. I dream of one day returning to Paris. If I do, I would stay at Holiday Inn Notre Dame again.

Gain de temps:
Short walk from hotel
We got a two-day ticket for one of the tourist double decker open top buses. Our first day, we drove around Paris and got our bearings. We then used bus to get us to and from the most distant shops (Champs Elysees) and sights (Sacre Coeur/Montmarte).
