Cannes & the beach
The stay was good, but a bit disappointed in the "classic room" which seemed much nicer on the Internet photos. Concierge and staff very competent and cordial. Caution! Chairs on the beach are not included w the room, and are quite expensive.

Dining is MUCH better in Old Cannes, and about a third of the cost as at the "fine" hotel area.

BEAUTIFUL!
The hotel is beautiful. We'd been told to lower our expectations for European hotels - but not this one! It's in the center of everything.

Beautiful Cannes at the Beach
This is a fabulous hotel and the highlight of my accomodations on my 2 week trip to France. Book this hotel, if you can. We received an excellent pre-season rate and it was worth every penny and more. We had a large room with a small view of the water. My luggage did not make the connection to Nice, but the hotel took responsibility for my suitcase and it was delivered to my room the next day. The Concierge gave excellent restaurant tips. Our stay could not have been more enjoyable, unless the parking had been free.

Great location
Although the room and bathroom were tight for a superior room, the location and most of the staff were excellent. Both check-in & check out were speedy and very easy. The Concierge and Business Center personnel were exceptional. Housekeeping could have been better. Restaurants within the hotel were excellent. Additional restaurants, shopping, sight seeing, and entertainment were all within walking distance.

Short walk from hotel
Couture shopping is located in the hotel and along the same street. Additional shops are a short walk from the hotel. People watching and relaxing in the sun is across the street...you might even spot a few celebrities. Cafes near by have excellent menus also.

Great location to watch the world go by on the promenade
Carlton Intercontinental Cannes was extremely comfortable. The employees throughout the hotel, including the concierges, bellmen and restaurant staff were quite friendly. The location can't be beat and I would definitely return to this hotel
