Hudson Valley Hotel & Conferen

From the road, the hotel looked ok, but our room was tucked away in in creepy corner, smelled of smoke and there was no internet connection. I called the front desk and was told there was a connection...it didn't work. I would not stay here again. There are other places to stay in the immediate area, and unless something is done to improve this property, i would recommend staying elswhere. I did not feel safe in this hotel.

From no ice machines, to no hot water, to loud early early morning staff and squeaky cart wheels, this place excels!!!! Remember that the minimum one can give on these reviews is one star, one star is actually no stars...

Breakfast above average. Aesthetics below average. Room condition good. Overall very satisfactory.

Given a smoking room (non-smoking reservation) at the farthest corner. When I called to change the room, was put on in-definite hold. As it was late and I had early appointment, stayed in the room. Very poor customer service at front desk. The notice at the door said breakfast starts at 6 am. Was in a hurry so went at 6:45, told that weekends, breakfast started at 7! Room was smelly and paint peeling of ceiling and walls. Breakfast was OK, and the service there was good. Will not return. I hold orbitz responsible for not getting the room I wanted.

First time at a Knights Inn and last. Would not be a bad place to sleep if you thats all you're looking for. Formerly a Quality Inn. Needs a good Quality updating. Went to look for the ice machine only to find it un plugged and being worked on. Had a freezing draft coming from under the door. I put a towel by it and the next morning it was frozen solid. Heat stayed on all night just to keep the room bearable. When inquiring about the ammentinities,was told on the phone by the clerk that they also had a pool...thats great, but its friggin 20 degrees out in NY and its an outdoor one and the pools covered till summer. If you're planning on breakfest...go elsewhere. Its nothing but a muffin, coffe or OJ. If you want a hot breakfest, there is a microwave oven which may be used to heat your muffin. Bathroom tiles need a good scrubing to remove mold. Other than a few more observations. It ain't no Quality or Hampton Inn.
