Good Value in Manhattan
Superior Room- Bed was really comfortable as well as the duvet and sheets. Staff were very helpful. Keurig coffee machine in room, ipod docking alarm clock/player so better than your basic hotel. Recommended!

NY pass is really good value as well as the GREYLINE double decker bus, not the NYsightseeing one!!

Great location, good value
I stay here a lot. The location is great. In one of the city's best neighborhoods and lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Rooms are small and lots of staff turnover, but that's NYC.

Turn right outside the front door and then left on Amsterdam Avenue. Lots of great places to eat in the 5 to 10 blocks north of 77th Street.

Nice for NYC
Great location. Great size of room. Great water pressure (unheard of in NYC). The only complaint - terrible, and I mean terrible bed linens. Pillows in particular.

Great location and very comfortable
Excellent experience. The room was very comfortable; in particular, the cooling-heating system was one of the best we've experienced in NY hotels. This upper west side location is ideal--2 blocks from No. 1 line and buses, very near excellent restaurants, Central Park, shops, Lincoln Center and Broadway theaters. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a very good experience

Nice Matin at 79 and Amsterdam provides an original and very tasty cuisine and is just two blocks away. For very good and inexpensive Mexican food, try El Centro at 54 and 9th Ave -the Pozole is excellent. Also try the great cafe-restaurant at Neue Museum at 5th Ave and 86th. The Museum is quite good also!

Clean and comfortable.
Clean, comfortable hotel on the upper west side. This neighborhood is safe, and quite close to Central Park. In the morning they have coffee/tea downstairs. There is wifi in the lobby (free) but they charge for wifi in the room. Room amenities were nice. Bed was very comfy. If I need to stay in uptown Manhattan again, I will stay here.

Decent Boutique
The hotel is decent and very well-priced for its location. The lounge area is nice and a piano is included for free play. There is a business center with free wifi and printing, also. The rooms are a bit small; kind of reminds you of a souped-up dorm room.

Spring break trip
Staff were amazingly helpful, room was great although construction right outside our window was noisy fairly early. Great location for what we wanted to do.

Nice Hotel
The staff were very courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. It was a little smaller than at some of the other hotels in the area - but for the price it was a wonderful experience.

Great location on the Upper West Side
Very comfortable and quiet room, clean and modern. Housekeeping and bellboys very helpful and gracious. Great location on the Upper West Side with easy access to subway or bus transportation.

Weekend getaway
This was our second visit to this hotel. Very convenient for Upper Westside & a short subway ride to Midtown. We paid for a superior room but the room they gave us was tiny. When we complained they readily moved us to a bigger room.
