Kitano Hotel

Excellent service and location. 5 min away from Grand Central. If you need to get a shuttle to La Guardia or JFK, there is a bus leaving from Grand Central (Jetblue).

The Kitano is really lovely & I was surprised to get a room "upgrade" to a larger suite with a couch & seat. The room has heated towel rack, robe, slippers, hot tea pot - Just be careful if you hook up for wi-fi/internet - Accidentally bought service for a hotel across the street (so many hotels close together) - The Kitano hotel wifi is per device & when prompted, the charge will be added to your room bill (If you are asked for a credit card #, then it's for another hotel)

Nice hotel. Loose manhole cover on 38th street needs attention to stop the thumping. They deep fry the breakfast bacon, I prefer it grilled.

We had enjoyed walking around NYC as well as shopping. The location of the hotel was good and convenient for us as it was near to Grand Central Station. It's also nice that Japan TV was available to watch at free of charges in the hotel room.

We will never forget the readines to immidiate help and support during hurricane Irene.

My husband and I were in town for a family event. Hotel location was great--a short walk to Grand Central station. Hotel was clean and quiet.

This was special trip to NYC for my wife and I. It was a combination of birthday's, an anniversary, a very belated honeymoon, and the first visit to NYC for my wife. The Kitano is a few blocks from Grand Central, so getting around NYC was easy. Our room was on the sixth floor overlooking Park Ave. We were amazed at how quiet it was. One thing my wife noted was how clean the room was compared to other highly rated hotels. Both the rugs and the bathroom was spotless, no signs of residue from previous occupants. The only negative item was noise from the hallway easily filtered into the room, but most guests were quiet so it wasn't a big problem. We are planning future trips back to NYC and will seriously consider staying at The Kitano again.

We enjoyed a long weekend in New York City including a Broadway musical, the nearby public library, the Gugenheim museum, Tenement Museum, Top of the Rock observation deck, Pete's Tavern and shopping at Macy's. Our stay at the Kitano Hotel provided the quietest room ever in any city; very clean, tastefully decorated with high quality amenities, deep soaking tub, super soft pillows, comfy bed, in room tea maker, everything we needed and more. We will return and highly recommend this calm oasis in the big noisy city; lots of Japanese charm and gracious service from all employees. Good location.

The Kitano Hotel is a very clean, quiet and pleasant hotel to spend your time in NY. The staff are very friendly and always ready to assist with whatever you need. Murray Hill is a great place to eat and drink and is not too far from anything. The subway is a few blocks away (Byant Park) and is really central to almost anything if you like a walk, if you don't then a cab is but a whistle away. If you don't walk in NY then you miss out on everything it has to offer. You will find the Kitano a great place to stay, beds are very comfy, rooms are spotless, water pressure for a shower or bath is good and the bathroom as a whole is one of the cleanest I have encountered for some time. Try your next stay in NY at the Kitano and you will not be disappointed.

久しぶりにとまったが、快適でした。エアコンが静かでよｊかったが、温度調節に苦労しました。日本人なので浴衣がほしかった。
