easy in, easy out
Received complimentary room upgrade. Room and bathroom were clean and nicely appointed. White bedding always appreciated. Breakfast was costly, even for NYC, but was also delicious. Location perfect for easy transportation access. Despite being located *at* Grand Central station, room was very quiet. Staff were helpful. We did not use amenities, but I would expect them to be good and did not want to "ding" them on this. We would stay at the Grand Hyatt at Grand Central again!

Long walk from hotel
near theaters, Nocello for very good Italian food and a nice atmosphere. Had a great experience there. Will likely return.

I just stayed there over the weekend. The hotel is near shops and four blocks from time square. had a great time good value for your money.

Very strategic location
The location is very good. It's ony few blocks to times square, and it's not far to uptown and soho as well. Most importantly, it next to subway station (Grand Central Station).

Wonderful Experience
The Grand Hyatt in NY is the best hotel ever!! This was my second visit to this hotel and everything was perfect. The staff was very helpful with anything we needed. The rooms and location are awesome!! I will definitely stay here again!

Confortable stay
Good value for the location. The staff were, for the most part, friendly and helpful. The room was clean but the bathroom had a stale odor and the bathroom fixtures are aging.

Great location
The renovation of this hotel is looking good. If you dont mind a front lobby that is makeshift while constrution is going on, this is your hotel. No dust or any loud noise while we were there, but the price for the room quality is unbeatable for NYC. Close to shopping/Time Square without having to deal with the crouds. only complaint no robes in the room.

You can find something better!
Overall, we were disappointed with our stay at the Grand Hyatt. My husband had stayed here several years before and enjoyed his stay, so we decided to try it again. Unfortunately, we will definitely not be staying there again. Our stay just started out on the wrong foot with our TV not working. It took the staff a considerable amount of time to get it working. Then, several electrical outlets weren't working, and that took time to repair. One morning, we ordered room service breakfast, and our order arrived incorrectly. They did replace the meal, but we had to eat our breakfast in bed at separate times. Finally, on our last night, we were getting ready for a dinner reservation, and the power in the entire room went out. We called to have it fixed, but it was not fixed in time for us to get ready like we would have liked. My husband was unable to finish ironing his pants, and I had to finish my make-up in the cab. Despite our numerous problems and calls to the front desk, we were not offered any consolations for the problems we encountered during our stay.
