Distrikt Hotel New York City, an Ascend Collection hotel

Cet hôtel est vraiment très bien. Il est très bien situé, proche de time square. Les chambres sont propres et le personnel de chambre est très attentionné. Le lit est fait le matin avec un petit chocolat glissé sous l'oreiller et le soir avant de rentrer, on vous ouvre le lit et on vous informe de la météo du lendemain. Nous avions une chambre au 28 ème étage et il y en a 33. L'ascenseur monte aussi rapidement que celui de Montparnasse. Vous avez café et thé à volonté dans la chambre et dans le hall. La rue est calme, près du terminal des bus. Il y a une laverie au coin de la rue, tenue par un couple très sympa. Vraiment, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à New York, logé dans cet hôtel.

Super séjour au Distrikt Hôtel de Manhattan. Un hôtel 3* qui vaut bien certains 4*. Personnel très prévenant, disponible. Chambre spacieuse bien équipée (bureau, wifi, climatisation bien sur, coffre fort, penderie et commode, lit king size, literie au top, cafetière, mini bar, Tv écran plat, vue sur l'empire State Building (demander une chambre en étage élevé avec vue au moment de la réservation). Dans le petit lobby, café et thé glacé à volonté - 3 ordinateurs pour se connecter à internet et quelques fauteuils. La salle des petits déj (pas testée). Un séjour à New York, allez au Distrikt Hôtel sans hésitation.

Excellent service from staff, nothing was too much trouble. Impressive room size - much bigger than expected. MUCH better than hotel I had previously stayed in in New York. Great location, free wifi, baggage storage, tea/coffee, and many little "extras".

Had a fantastic experience at the Distrikt Hotelwith superb views from our room on the 25th floor. Staff were welcoming and friendly, the welcome cakes were a lovely touch, as were the weather cards and chocolates every night. Very central location, we were able to walk to central park, Times Square and Empire state building very easily. Felt very safe in and out of the hotel and the free Wi Fi was a definite bonus.The only wish would be that the beds were bigger, with 4 adults in one room, king size beds would have been nice!! If we ever get the chance we would definitely stay at the Distrikt again.

This hotel was in a great location, a few minutes walk from Time Square. The staff were friendly and very helpful and couldn't do enough for you when you needed help with attractions, places to eat etc. The breakfast at the hotel is good value and very nice food, with continental and a good hearty cooked breakfast. Fried burgers are a must in this hotel, the chef is amazing. Nothing was too much effort for the staff at this hotel, whether it was a taxi or a hotel car to go back to the airport. Rooms were of very good size and cleaned every day on request. The New York Times was delivered outside you door everyday and a weather report for the following day left on your bed.

Small hotel, great staff, very nice. Got early in the morning after a red eye and was allowed to my room at 6am! The room was exactly the right size, and seems brand new.

It was a wonderful stay and walking distance to my destination

The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Made you feel welcome. Provided assistance with transportation.

Arrived in NYC for an overnight business trip. Check-in seemed to take a little longer than expected - front desk person didn't know how to process bookings from Orbitz. Room was spacious, clean, and well-designed. The bathroom had beautiful fixtures and great toiletry products. Coffee maker was nicer than usual - one of those that makes single serving cups - and had tea options, as well. Staff was nice enough to store my luggage the next day until I headed for the airport. Porter got the wrong bag, so I waited a little longer than expected. All in all, it was a really nice hotel that I would certainly visit again!

Theater and Ballet. Although convenient, west 40th street has got to be one of the dirtest in all the City.We were not told coffee was available in the am in the lobby. The closet is very small and stuffed with drawers and a safe so much so that two pair of pants barely fit. They need to hang long to get creases out.The service was good but not that much better than other hotels I have stayed in.
