Would Stay Again...But
Loved the hotel & service. Only complaint is the cleaning staff actually leaves an envelop in room expecting a tip. Personally had the envelop not been left a tip would have been. To automatically expect a tip for doing your job is a wrong assumption.

Good quality for our overnight stay
Spacious, clean accomodations. Comfortable beds, with fresh bedding. Only negative: bathroom was not well cleaned before our stay - reported to management. Otherwise, room was perfect.

Family Visit
We have regularly visited Middletown and we find that the Holiday Inn is conveniently located and has the most reasonable rates with the same if not more amenities in comparison to the other area hotels.

Great location!
Loved the location of the hotel. It's about 20 minutes from Woodbury Outlet. It's right off the highway. There are 3 restaurants within a mile from the hotel (Chilli's, Outback, TGI Friday). The hotel's complimentary buffet breakfast experience was rather unpleasant. We had to wait in line for a table. There were plenty of empty but dirty tables but no one has time to clean them. After waiting for the table, the hot food was gone and we had to wait for someone to have time to refill. The milk for cereal was out when we got there, but I noticed they didn't refill it until when we were leaving. 1 of their 2 toasters were broken, so once again, everyone had to wait in line to use the toaster.

Great Staff
The staff at the Holiday in Middeltown-Goshen was very friendly. They were very helpful and great to talk to. I also enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools, the fitness room, and the restaurant. The location was nice in that it is set back from the road which offered a little bit extra privacy and quiet.

Short drive from hotel
There is a flea market about 45 minutes away through the Poconos. The hotel is also only an hour away from some great shopping in New York City.

Staff was rude
We had previously stayed at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. While the room was not the cleanest previously, the pool was open and the stay was pleasant. This time, the staff was RUDE.
