Great Location. very nice
Stayed at the Desmond after a concert at SPAC. Great location. Wonderful breakfast.

Nice Business trip accomodations
Short stay for a customer meeting. Accomodations include an restaurant, social room and pool. Made for a very comfortable and convienient stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Cell phone service inside was poor, should work on that for business travellers.

Great Location for the price
Spent one night at hotel in to get early start on sales calls following day. Room was sufficient, but since I work for another Conference Center/hotel...I found myself comparing little details...such as no bottled water in guest room, facial tissues in bathroom ran out and there was no replacement, no small plastic canister filled with cotton balls and swabs in bathroom. Restaurant experience was good and food was plentiful. Best New England Clam Chowder I've had in a long time! Staff was friendly and courteous.

Better for business then pleasure
The room was nice but the balcony doors were not sealed well so it was noisy. They had a business show going on so all our view was of the show. Pool in the gym was nice and the pool in the courtyard was cold and the hot tub was to. also who wants to swim while thereis a show going on.

Great Albany stay
A wonderful, relaxing stay
What a wonderful break from not so clean rooms and unfriendly staff. Our room was recently refurbished and my wife said it felt like a country inn. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent with a pleasant atmosphere. We cant wait until our trip next year to stay at the beautiful Desmond Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Desmond.The beds were very comfortable, the service was excellent. The staff responded to our requests for extra pillows and a wheelchair for a family member immediately. We will stay there again !!!

I had a excellent stay at The
I had a excellent stay at The Desmond. There were some renovations going on, but the workers were barely noticeable. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but I was able to find discounted prices through [this website]. Overall The Desmond was a good value for an above average hotel. Generally nicer than other nearby hotels for a few extra dollars. This review is my opinion based on conditions and prices at the time of my stay.

Desmond Review
It is an excellent hotel. Great location central to most things. Very good restaurants on premises. Staff was very courteous and responsive. I would stay there again.
