Hyatt Regency Sarasota

This property was rated as a four star and luxurious. Not even close. It was shabby and run down in so many areas. It was also dirty in many of the common areas, and needs to be repainted almost everywhere. The staff was friendly and the beds were very comfy- the mojitos at the pool bar were good. That's the best I can say.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean, current,and they even had a sheet over the do-bay cover which was changed as needed. All the emenities that you would expect. I was disappointed that they charged extra for w-fi $12.00 per day. The pool was awesome and the staff very helpfull. All in all a relaxing vacation .

Beautiful location on Sarasota Bay. Within walking distance of the beach and downtown . Shuttle provided free of charge to several locations including St. Armand's circle. Had a blast and the hotel was worth every penny. The staff is very accommodating and made us feel at home would go back again. Was sad to leave!! Good for family vacation great pool and hot tub.

Not too much positive to say about this hotel. You have to drive to the majority of attractions. The hot tub/pool closed at dusk each day, restricting any hot tub/pool usage in the evening. Accessories in room showed signs of wear. Bathroom area was VERY small. Front desk staff was rather rude. Charged us $9.95 for using the internet when we never did once. They insisted we were wrong though, and made us pay the charge. Breakfast buffet was a ridiculous $20 (not recommended by myself). Will never stay at this particular hotel again. Very disappointed.

I went there for work and just loved the beautiful weather and restaurants. The hotel was perfect. "NO COMPLAINTS"

The view was not what I had expected but had to pay for, a grand view of the parking lot. The staff was in- different to my complaint. When we arrived in our room the bathroom floor was dirty and there was a soiled wash cloth wedged be-tween the shower curtain and the shower pole. So much for Hyatt hype.

We were at this Hotel in early March for 4 nights. The weather was perfect and we spent much of our time sitting by the heated pool drinking mai tai's. One of the best beaches in America is just around the corner and we enjoyed working on our tans here as well. The gym is perfect, the staff, food, and rooms are all great.

When arriving late Friday evening, I walked out on the balcony to see the most stunning views of the marina and pool. The warm Sarasota breeze was inviting and comforting. The next morning I had an even better perspective of this most rewarding view.

The room was ready on time, the staff was very freindly and helpful. We had a very good time by the pool and enjoyed the water fall and the Hurricane Hut. The food was excellent and the servers were very professional. The hotel is well situated for easy access to all of the areas main attractions. All and all, we had a great time.

really good for business person quiet location good food but too many options.... will go back again!
