Venezia Hotel

I was shocked and quite depressed upon entering my room. I wasn't expecting anything special based on the reviews I had read, neither was I expecting something this bad. The whole place is terribly run down and in need of major renovation. The carpets are disgusting and dirty and I would advise wearing footwear at all times. The beds are clean but mattresses very old and poorly sprung. If it weren't for the welcome I received upon check-in I would have checked out immediately. Sadly I never saw the person who checked me in again and the rest of the reception staff were very curt and unfriendly. The best thing about this place is the terrace looking out to the waterway, where it's nice to sit and unwind, but even this area is extremely shabby. Strangely, I would return to this place because it's a comfortable distance form all the craziness of South Beach, yet easy to get to all the action if you seek that. It's remarkably cheap and close to the beach. I was on a tight budget and this place suited my needs for 4 nights. Maybe it's because the room I was assigned had 3 double beds in it and I was travelling alone. Breakfast is virtually non-existent, with cereal, stale bagels and the worst coffee I ever tasted.

the hotel was pretty ugly on the outside and is nothing like pictures. the complimentary breakfast sucked and it were many south beach prostitutes in the lobby. if you are lucky enough to get a room on the 1st floor the hotel is pretty good. the room service sucked and they left a please tip sign on the lamp but therewere no bath towels or nothing in the room. but for the money its a quick in and out place to stay

One night stay. Front desk woman, very rude and unprofessional. Descent size room, ac worked well.

the hotel was in a great location, the price was fair, and i'd say it was an average hotel . if you're looking for a high class super nice hotel this is not the one. it was fairly clean and no extras - parking would have been nice. but the price and location was awesome.

Increíble lo sucio que estaba y lo descuidado que está el edificio, no queríamos ni estar descalzos sobre esa sucia alfombra de la habitación. Por suerte estuvimos poco tiempo, pero está claro que no volveremos a ese hotel. La atención en la recepción no estuvo mal, pero el resto de terror!

Old old old if you are charging 150 usd a night you need to fik your ceilings And walls at least have tv which will be working get a cable. I like to own a hotel like this I can make a lot of cash out of it no investment great Super business mentality lover it

Nothing like the pictures I saw it was very misleading. The blinds in the rooms where broken, I needed to hang paper towel over the broken blinds so people on the streets could not see in. The toilet kept running all night. Only 2 towels for 4 adults. The bathroom was not up to any kind of standard. The shower was all rusted the seat was very warn. They had a continental breakfast from 6:30 - 9:30 but cleaned up and took everything away between 9-9:15

The room was not very clean. Bathroom taps were broken but working. Good for 1 day stay to save money.

ACHTUNG! Dieses Hotel stellt meines Erachtens schon eine Gesundheitsbedrohung dar! Es ist wirklich die letzte Absteige - wir haben Fotos gemacht die wirklich unglaublich sind! Was uns hier letztendlich milde gestimmt hat war, die Lage - nur ein Block vom Strand entfernt, das wir nur 1 Nachte geblieben sind und vom Flug total übermüded waren! Das ist kein Hotel - das ist weniger wert als ein Hostel!
