The Richmond Hotel

Very pleasant honest accommodating and there food was great.

Nice hotel. Very friendly staff; i had brought a friend down with an extra car and the valet was very nice in negotiating a lower rate for my friends car since they werent staying. Just a couple blocks from all the best shopping, resturaunts, nightclubs in SOBE. Beautiful pool/hottub area with beach access.. only complaint is that the pool area and beach access are closed way too early in the night.

They need to have a tighter security from food delivery solicitor that give out flyer from underneath the door.

I will stay here again however hotel need renovations.

Wir waren zu 2. dort um Miami etwas kennen zu lernen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und wirklich hilfsbereit! Zimmer werden sehr gut gereinigt. Das Hotel liegt DIREKT am Strand von South Beach (allerbeste Lage). Zum Oceans Drive läuft man keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß!! Im Hotel kann man frühstücken, allerdings liegt direkt gegenüber vom Hotel ein Restaurant, das um einiges besser ist und eine größere Vielfalt zu bieten hat. Im Umkreis von 5 Gehminuten liegen etliche Möglichkeiten um sich etwas essbares zu besorgen. Auch das Valet-parking funktoniert super und das Auto ist versichert...Kostet allerdings 35 Dollar am Tag.. Verglichen mit anderen Parkmöglichkeiten aber durchaus gerechtfertigt. Einziger Negativpunkt: Das WLAN kostet10 Dollar pro Tag.. Wer es schlau macht, nimmt sich ein Zimmer an der südlichen Seite des Hotels und benützt das Free-WLAN des Hotels daneben mit ;-) funktioniert einwandfrei! Für diesen Preis genau das was wir erwartet haben.. Werden bei weiteren Miami-Aufenthalten auf jeden Fall wieder dort übernachten.

The Richmond hotel has quite basic amenities but scores a big plus for location and the friendly and helpful staff. We used the hotel simply as a base and only slept and showered there as we were out enjoying Miami the rest of the time. Its a good basic hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable but it lacks the wow factor of other hotels in the area.

took 3 days off for a quick getaway. staff was very friendly and helpful. went with girlfriend got a king bed had no problem getting that into two twins. very helpful. would not hesitate to use this hotel again and reccomend it. close to shopping and the ocean. what more can you ask for other than better weather,

The Richmond was a great hotel! the pool was AMAZINGGG!!! the staff was very friendly and willing to help! The rooms were VERY CLEAN which was a big deal for us! The room are average size, not too big but still a good size for a couple! the AC worked GREAT! we were actually cold !!!! the only suggestion I have is that the hotel should have more entertainment ! We stood over during the raining season, but were lucky to get 2 days of great sunshine =) however, when it did rain we could hear the music and dj's from all the hotels around us while the richmond was dead silent!!!! a little bit of music or some type of entertainment would def. improve this hotel!!!!

Went down to Miami for a relaxing few days with a girlfriend. The hotel was just a room to sleep in basically. It was small, and because of the "energy efficiency", the power was off (including the AC) until we checked in so the room was very humid, all the bedding was damp from the humidity. The television was mounted on the wall flat to the complete left of the room, so if you were on the right side of the bed, the television viewing was out of the question. They were doing construction on the front lobby so every time you walked out or in you had to walk through it. No free wireless, no free breakfast, no vouchers for using chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Just a room, to sleep in, and nothing more. The only thing that was nice was the location, able to walk to shopping, restaurants, and the beach but that is all this hotel had to offer.

Staying in this hotel is my biggest mistake! The hotel service sucks. There is only one blanket per room, and either me or my roommate has to sleep with nothing! The stuff here speak poor English and are really rude. Aren't hotel supposed to put customers' needs first?? I just ask for ONE THING!! and the twin beds are not even 1 meter wide. Really disappointed!
