Holiday Inn MIAMI BEACH-OCEANFRONT

Reserved 2 rooms for 2 days with ocean view front with advance purchase. When I checked in, hotel said they don't have ocean-front rooms and gave a room with no ocean views. They also said that 1 room got cancelled even though my reservation confirmation said 2 rooms. The staff took a long time to check me in. (more than 30 minutes). I had to pay again for the 2nd room. Hotel overview says that 'kids under 12 eat free but this is false advertising. I had to pay breakfast buffet for the kids also. Staff doesn't even bother or ask to put me in ocean front room for 2nd night. They keep saying I have to check with the front desk for open rooms with ocean front views. Overall, I advise to avoid this hotel. Now, I am trying hard to get the refund for the advance purchase of the 2nd room.

While my fiancee and I enjoy the excitement, hotels and restaurants of south beach, the Holiday Inn In north beach offers a relaxing, quieter retreat while being only a ten minute taxi ride to south beach, you can experience the best of both worlds! Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff are very friendly, loved the breakfast buffet, and time spent at the pool was fantastic! Enjoyed our stay there.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am weitläufigen Strand von Miami-Beach. Alle Fenster des Hotels sind verriegelt und nicht zu öffnen (siehe Foto Webseite Hotel) . Balkone und Terassen besitzen die Zimmer nicht. Die Klimaanlage ist veraltet und so laut das man sie nachts ausschalten muß um schlafen zu können. Der Frühstück- und Restaurantbereich bietet keinen Essbereich im Freien an. An der Poolbar werden die Gerichte in PVC-Kartons mit Plastikgeschirr serviert. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis fällt zu Ungunsten der Gäste aus!

You can't get a better location, right next door to the Fountainbleu. We would have been extremely satisfied with this hotel choice if it were <$150/night, but the rate was doubled to $300/night during the boat show. At that price, the room was a huge disappointment. No balcony/patio in the room. Good choice only for the location.

Great hotel! Absolutely no complaints. Awesome location right on the beach. Loved the breakfast buffet.

Our first night there was horrible. We went to the room that was initially very,very cold. We unpacked and decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was so bad that it was inedible. The waiter was so nice that we just said oh well, we'll do better tomorrow. As the evening went on and the room was less cold a musty smell took over and the sheets were so scratchy. I wanted to move immediately but my partner did not. By 2 in the morning we couldn't breathe. I called the desk the first thing in the morning and told them what a horrible night we had and that they need to clean the room, get some febreeze. Terrible

Staff were friendly, the pool area was beautiful and clean, the room was spotless and the bed was SO comfortable. Food at the restaurant at breakfast was great. We ordered from the menu, not the buffet. Front desk staff gave great advice on where to eat and visit and places to park. Valet parking attendants were helpful and quick. Would definitely recommend to others :)

Hotel location was excelent, food excelent, satff was very helpful and polite.

My hotel stay was very comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The only thing I could complain about was the lighting(terrible ) not bright enough. Oh and breakfast buffet was not worth the $14.99.

Hotel was very clean. My husband loved the pillows. It was right on the beautiful ocean. Close to public transportation. we rode to Lincoln road for shopping and to eat. Only down thing was I thought we would have a balcony, but there were no balconies. I would recommend.
