Hilton Miami Downtown

Ideally located for any business needs downtown. Service was great. Valet was exceptional and I will definately return to this location the next time I have business in Miami.

I went for art events. I quess the service good, but the kitchen doesn't work 24 hours and when I needed to eat, I couldn't. I needed to call for delivery for 2 times, and each time I waited for more the 1 hours for my food arrived. When I arrived, the hotel doesn't room disponible e I waiting almost 2 hours in the lobby till that they could a room for me.

Check in was awkward. No accommodation for early arrival - downgraded but no accommodation for the rate. Average room - no in room safe, no in room minibar. Vending machine in the corridor was not well stocked - no water available! Dust in all vents. Old televisions in guest rooms make the room feel dated. Everything works. Weird music piped into the corridors. Service staff were formulaic - not really sincere service culture. Really a very average Hospitality experience. Not for me.

Good overall experience

The staff @ this hotel were very helpful & accomodating. Also, it was located downtown which was minutes away from South Beach & Biscayne Bay. Also, it was walking distance to restaurants, shopping, & Bayfront Park Amphitheatre which holds concerts. I enjoyed my stay in Miami & this hotel & would definately go back to visit.

Hotel is nice, but nothing more than nice. The AC unit in my room was very noisy, and the TV was so old that I could barely see anything. Besides this, lobby and bar are Ok and service was fine.

It was a bit difficult to find but once we got there the staff was very helpful with everything and it was a really nice and clean environmnent. Price was fantastic!!!

The hotel is very nice and in a good location. I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing that I can think would help the hotel is that you really need to update the televisions in the rooms. They are really old and picture is not clear enough.

First impression was good, despite surrounding neighborhood. The parking situation was a disappointing surprise. The first night, we checked in late and just followed the arrows parking in the garage. The next morning, bright and early, we left after paying $25 for a 'discounted' parking fee. The bath/shower was dirty. But since they did not have any larger rooms for my family of six, I sucked it up and we showered quickly. The volume control for the outdated television was not malfunctioning. But even after all of that, if the same room rate was offered, I would probably consider staying there again. We visited the area to enjoy Miami, not the hotel. Their drinks and desserts were good.:)

The Hotel was beautiful and staff very helpful. The hotel has beautiful rooms with view overlooking the bay but being in a "downtown" locations does present it's own set of problems. Visiting a fast food (BK)restaurant directly across the street was a scary situation with many homeless people coming in and pulling cups out of the trash receptacles washing them and filling them from the fountain. Also Miami touts it's "People Mover" transportation system but I found it to be scary as well with many questionable people riding and no security on the cars. I would suggest taxi cabs or car rental.
