I never had a such a bad hotel experience. I booked a non smoking room, but they gave me a smelly smoking room. I called the reception from the room but nobody picked up, although the 2 receptionists were there. Came down to the reception, and they were there .. Got a second room, nonsmoking this time - but the AC was not working ... Asked for another room, finaly got one with a working AC, but the carpet was worn out and dirty, During these trips to the reception and various rooms, nobody apologized, nobody said they were sorry. A constant among the 3 rooms that I had the "opportunity" to see, was the stringent smell. Somebody described it as cat urine smell, but I think it is due to some chemicals they are using to clean or to mask other odors. I've heard of this kind of experiences from others but never had one myself - before this one.

ExtendedStay isn't good for extended sta
Extended Stay Deluxe is not good if your stay gets extended... There is no daily room service. It is done only once in a week. This place is good for one/two days of stay.

At Extended Stay Deluxe San Jose
Furnitures are pretty old. They look good from outside but when you try to use them you will realize that it is not in good shape to use. Most of things like refrigerator, bath fan make lot of noise.

MY VISIT TO SAN JOSE WAS FOR BUSINESS. THE HOTEL WAS PERFECT FOR MY STAY IN SAN JOSE,THE PEOPLE WERE VERY FRIENDLY THE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD. THE ONE THING I LIKED WAS EVERYTHING I NEEDED WAS CLOSE TO THE HOTEL.

Terrible!
I have stayed at a number of Extended Stays over the years but this one is by far the worse! There was the smell of pet urine in the room, had to sleep with the window open. There was a dog in the next room that was barking all the time. The kitchen floor was sticky and the coffee pot had coffee and coffee grinds in it. It looked as though no one even cleaned the room.

My experience here was very pleasant one for the stay. Overall knowledgible staff, breakfast options..location, room cleanliness etc were great for the value.
