Perfect for a quick overnight
We needed a place to stay for our layover overnight. The Holiday Inn Express SAN FRANCISCO-AIRPORT NORTH worked perfectly. Was a decent price, clean room and comfy bed. That's all we needed.

Go across the street to the Best Western for a decent meal if you don't want fast food. They have a restaurant.

Business trip
Staff very friendly, Breakfast was a complete surprise not only in quality and quantity but taste. Will definitely use this site again. Close to the airport and freeway.

Great for a short layover
Wonderful,welcoming, friendly staff. Super, complementary, hot breakfast and a prompt shuttle to the SF airport. I stayed one night to be near the airport for an early flight. The room was clean and comfortable, but the noises from the room above, water running through some other rooms' showers, and the loud people in the hallway made a good night's sleep impossible. The gym was nice and the business center computer room was great. For a short stay, it is a perfect location and a good price.

Never heard of paying to park.
The hotel was very nice. When it was time to check out, they presented us with a bill for parking! The first night there was no parking available, so manager on duty told us to make one. So we did illegaly. Next night we were able to park in a legal space. I have never heard of a hotel charging to park (total of $18.00) when we paid more than enough just to sleep there.

OK if you have an early flight next morning
We needed a hotel close to the airport as we had an early flight next day. We certainly slept all right and that was the main thing. The eight-lane highway it's on doesn't make it conducive to anything else though. In the end we decided that the McDonald's next door was the safest place to eat. Which speaks volumes really as normally we'd avoid McDonald's like the plague!

Business Traveler
Good clean room with easy parking, great freeway and airport access, free internet and breakfast. I liked the nice strong shower. The microwave and refrigerator are a plus. Not a luxury hotel by any stretch and would not stay here for vacation, but it's perfect for business travel.

Modern Attractive Decor/SF Airport Locale
Excellent hotel for staying close to SF airport. The decor is modern/updated on a par with 4 star hotels. Added plus is that the windows open (San Francisco area climate is usually lovely/moderate, and fresh air from a crack in the window is very nice in this area). Parking is close in, another plus. Very easy on and off the freeway north to San Francisco or points south. Did not use breakfast or other food services so cannot rate. Had to wait over 10 minutes to check out in morning (no one at counter), so hotel could improve on that.
