Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel

The hotel had excellent facilities. We appreciated the fitness center, pool, and hot tub. The room was comfortable and the staff was very courtious and helpfull. Only drawback was parking behind the hotel in the airport lot if you did not use the valet service.

I checked in around 10pm, but the staff was wonderful. They asked me if I'd prefer a room on a high floor or a low floor and they even went so far as to make sure that I got the view I wanted! I got a wonderful night's sleep in a fantastic king bed and slept all the way until my wake-up call the next morning at 6. Everything ran 24 hours a day and the shuttle I took the next morning was on time, fast, and efficient. This hotel is truly a delight, I only wish I'd been able to stay more than one night! Fantastic value.

I stopped in LA and stayed here for one night. It was very convenient being close to the LAX. I probably wouldn't recommend it for family vacations or if you are going to be in LA for a while, since the surrounding area isn't that great. As far as the staff, they were very friendly. The only negatives I found was the AC in the room was loud and the shower/bath tub was very small. Overall, if you are wanting to stay close to the airport, I would recommend it.

Complete Staff friendly but unpersonal, forget the continental Breakfest.

Hotel is just off of Sepulveda which is a great area to go for a run.

This was an overnight stay. A very warm recepetion when we walked in. The room was clean with a good view. The only issue was the cost of the parking.

I had a quick business trip to LA. The Sheraton Gateway was very convenient to the airport and had a spacious, comfortable room (to relax and work). The fitness facility was nice with plenty of equipment available. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Neither a cheap hotel nor high end accommodations, but good value for comfort and convenience.

Stayed for a few days on a business trip. I was treated well by the employees. They even brought a rental car to me and I was able to leave it with valet to return. No problem.

pro: location/close to airport has a shuttle to the airport cons: small room no amenities (no refrigerator) small/old TV have to pay for parking!! no continental breakfast (for "4" star hotel???) charges $3//bottle of water!!! This is NOT a 4 star hotel

Despite the cable not working and the bed was harder than a rock with extremely soft pillows that did provide any support, the hotel was in a great location for easy access to LAX. The car rental return was about a half mile from the hotel and they also provide shuttle service to the airport. The only people I would recommend this hotel to are overnight guests waiting for their flight...long-term comfort is not one of this hotel's selling points!
