Runaway daughter
This hotel was close to all attractions and to the public transportation. It was also close to many restaurants. It was very convenient.

Quite, comfortable and near all the action.
Our room was clean and quite. The breakfast was fantastic, with many choices of both hot and cold food. The location was perfect, easy walking distance to all of the attractions on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Friendly and attentive staff. It could have only been better if the pool had been heated.

I'll just bullet the items 1. Good location 2. $22.00 per day parking - no break for hotel guests. Bad. 3. hit and miss on hot water 4. Poor pool location 5. Breakfast buffet counter not laid out well for busy activity - too congested 6. Could not adjust air-conditioning below 75 - was like a sauna in the room after showers. could not even run the "fan" option on the unit. TOO envoronmentally friendly. 7. TV choices poor - standard cable only - but could still see the On-demand menus. Need movie options. 8. Good hotel for short stay only.

Plenty of restaurants close by. Rolling Stone restaurant has a TERRIBLE menu - not a good value for the money there - will not go back.

Hollywood Holiday Inn Express
Good fitness center. Continental breakfast was good - pancakes were great and quick, cinnamon rolls were tasty and they had skim milk. Hotel was very clean and a good price for the area. Very close to Hollywood. You can hear the street noise on Highland pretty well if your room is on that side.

An excellent hotel!
Large rooms
An excellent hotel! Large rooms and very clean. Breakfast and internet included. Breakfast is basic, but more than adequate with bacon or sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and an assortment of breads and pastries. Location is excellent. Ten minute walk to Hollywood Boulevard and its attractions. Ten minute walk to subway and buses to all parts of LA. Highly recommend.

Good location, Only a short walk
Good location, Only a short walk to the Walk of Fame, and The Hollywood Bowl. Close to shops. Large comfortable rooms.

Just good old me
good price for a good location
My only suggestion is a better variety of fresh fruits for breakfast. Other then that it was just what we wanted. Close to attractions, family and fun. Valet is kind and helpful as is the front desk.
