Petit Palace Posada Del Peine City Inn Madrid

Tres bon hotel, bien placé , entre Puerta del sol et plaza mayor. Notre chambre, donnant sur une petite cour, etait tres calme, ce qui est un + vu le quartier. Free wifi et pc portable dans la chambre. Chambre non fumeur.

This is a nice, funky hotel with a fantastic central Madrid location. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, if small. It had a great shower with one of those great body massage sprays - very nice after a night of walking around Madrid. I didn't eat at the hotel because there are so many places around, but they do offer breakfast. Wifi was free, but slow - the wired Ethernet was much faster. No ironing board, but laundry service was offered. Only complaint was that the bed was very firm and the pillows were pretty flat, but ok when folded in half.

Great hotel in the best location in madrid. Very friendly staff who were very helpful. The rooms were large for a major European city and very clean. Great shower!

Das Hotel liegt an sehr zentraler Lage zwischen dem Plaza Mayor und dem SOL. Doch ist es sehr ruhig, da keine Strassen am Hotel vorbei gehen... Das Zimmer war schön und zu unserer ganzen Zufriedenheit. Gratis Internet im Zimmer mit PC. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gross und hat uns keinen Wunsch übrig gelassen. Super Hotel!

The hotel is in the perfect location. Really close to Sol Metro but away from the business. The staff we really helpful, couldn't have done more for us. The design of the hotel was cool and the foyer in particular was stunning. The room was a little disappointing though as it was a bit shabby. Also design had overtaken comfort a little i.e. no useable mirror on dressing table. Overall great stay but a little bit of an update would have made it amazing.

good location and value. equal distance to walk to palace and prada. three minute wlak from Sol metro stop. safe location. very friendly and helpful (english speaking) staff. rooms are small, but very quiet...something that you strive for in up-all-night madrid. free laptop/internet in room. the lap top was older and slow, but worked fine to surf. microphone was poor ( skype was difficult). breakfast was extra charge and was fine. only real negative was we could not turn the air on in the room without it getting filled with cigaret smoke. the air system must circulate through all the rooms and one of the other guest must have been (illeagally) smoking in their room.

I will stay here again! It is right in the heart of the Plaza Mayor, so you step out every day into the middle of the Madrid scene. This is not for everybody, especially if you want a peaceful stay, or a business trip. Plus, it is in a pedestrian zone, so taxis cant pull up to the hotel, you have to walk your luggage about 50 yards. But we had 3 teenage boys with us, and they were dazzled with the location. They could walk to all the hottest tapas bars by themsleves. Touristy? Sure! But that was what we were looking for.

Great location,staff very helpful, free laptop/wifi in each room. Rooms just a bit small but didn't matter because we were out most of the time. GREAT massage showers as well. Location was the key! Very clean as well.

Once we got our room moved to the front it was a very good experience. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Free wireless after the rip off in so many hotels is great. The location is a very important selling point. Would go back and would recommend.

Excellent little hotel in perfect location. No frills (fitness center, bar, spa...etc.) but if you're looking for a great little spot for a brief rest during your busy stay in Madrid, this is an excellent choice.
