Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

Très bon hotel, accueil de bonne qualité , service correct, emplacement de 1er choix, un peu bruyant si votre chambre donne sur la rue, petit déjeuner un peu cher (23 euros).

My husband and I were attending the ITMA exhibition in Barcelona from 9/22/11 to 9/29/11. Majestic Hotel and Spa's location was perfect. It is situated in one of the best city locations with restaurants, shops, banks, and subway station within walking distance. You can really experience a city life by staying here. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very courteous, helpful, and kind. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Their business center offered free internet access. The city tour buses had a station right outside the hotel within 500 feet. We loved it and would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience!!!

Walking distance to La Pedrera, shops, restaurants, and tour buses. Spectacular views of the city from the pool.

We had a great time touring Barcelona and we also enjoyed time at the spa it was wonderful I would highly recommend it.

We rested there and got use to the 7 hours time change.Very nice hotel and everyone spoke English so it helped us to get use to our new surroundings before boarding our cruise ship to Italy and France. Enjoyed just seeing the people and walking up this beautiful street.

When staying at a 5 star hotel you should have no complaints. Ok the rooms were small but that is quiet typical of European Hotels. The hotel is very noisy, we had a room off the street (with a view of Sagrada Familia) and yet couldn't sleep a wink but not from street noise. The walls are so thin that every noise in adjoining rooms are quiet clear. Also the doors are so heavy that they result in a huge slam every time one closed. The linens were not 5 star linens and while there was extra blankets, there was only 1 thin pillow for each of us. The towels were nice sized and very soft but the toiletries were terrible. The water pressure was terrible. And satellite tv would have been nice, it being a 5 star hotel and everything. The hotel roof was lovely with great views but don't think you are going to swim far in that pool. It's the size of an over-sized bathtub. My husband and I sat up there relaxing for over an hour and never once were we approached by a waiter. Same thing in the lounge, unless you stalk them, you are not getting any service. The front desk was very polite and kind however their English is not so great. And as I said, a 5 star hotel should have 5 star service. I had emailed the hotel a week before to tell them when we would arrive and to ask for early check-in. Not only didn't they respond, no room was ready. The location was good, nice and central but the next time we go we will try something else in the area.

I brought my kids on this business trip. The hotel is beautiful in the lobby and had a view from the roof. Our room had apiece of frosted glass for a window- could not tell if it was day or night- rain or shine. The hotel would do nothing to help me and I was told that booking through discount brokers gets this type of room and service. The hotel manager was no where to be found - "on holiday" of course. The hotel did not live up to my expectations and to go further ruined the first 2 days of the trip for me and my family. I have stayed in Holiday inns and been treated better

We were there for a week to explore Barcelona. I appreciated hotel's location and friendly staff. I didn't like the fact that our room was noisy and small. I feel it overpriced and over hyped for what it offers at the price it offers it at.

The location is fantastic and the rooftop access is impressive. The hotel is a short walk to everything in the city. Highly recommended.

Staff seemed unconcerned about complaints of service staff noise throughout day. Seemed more interested in their prime location than the amenities in their rooms, which seem VERY similar to a Best Western. Wished we stayed at Claris.
