Grupotel Gran Via 678 Hotel Barcelona

Ik (46) ben samen met mijn moeder(71)naar dit hotel geweest en alles was zeer goed. Wij sliepen op de 3e etage en geen last gehad van de metro wat sommige mensen zeiden. Het ontbijt was heel erg uitgebreid. Het hotel ligt op loop afstand van plaza cataluyna en het winkelgebied. Dus zeer centraal. Het personeel in het hotel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en iedereen sprak engels. Dit hotel is een zeer grote aanrader

The hotel is centrally located and offers easy walking access to general tourist areas such as Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter, and L'Eixample. The staff is very friendly and helpful to offer assistance whether it is with providing directions or offering suggestions. The beds, although small by US travel standards, are very comfortable. This was my second time back to to same hotel and the great service and quality were consistent with my first visit.

Friendly staff, lovely modern rooms and facilities, excellent breakfast

Stayed one night at hotel before heading back home to Chicago. Hotel's location was perfect and the service was fine. Room size was nice, but bathroom could use some upgrading on the shower doors (water spills out) and I received two twin beds pushed together instead of the queen size I requested. Didn't make a big deal about it since we were only staying one night.

Dieses Hotel ist sehr zentral in Barcelona gelegen und kann vollkommen überzeugen. Es wurde erst im Jahr 2010 eröffnet, sodass die Ausstattung sehr gut und sehr modern ist. Das Zimmer war freundlichen eingerichtet und das Bad war überdurchschnittlich. Das Hotelpersonal sprach sehr gut Englisch und ging auch auf individuelle Wünsche und Probleme sehr freundlich ein.

What was missing was a coffee pot, an iron and no space to walk around the room. Flush didn't work; hot water shut off; front desk not very prompt in answering calls because they knew they had a problem. Restaurant service was terrible. Breakfast buffet was 15 euros per person and they wa nted to be paid more if you asked for an extra cup of coffee - this was supposed to be a Buffet!!! We refused to pay more. While guests are eating, they are interrupted with a bill that needed to be signed - this could have waited - or guests should be asked to sign before they are seated. Staff needed to be more proficient in English.

STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND ROOM ARE VERY MODERN

It was fantastic, Don't Think Twice about booking the hotel. Perfect location close to everything, Rambla Street, Gothic Quarter Etc. We saw pretty much all of Barcelona on foot from our hotel. The hotel is very modern sleek and very very clean. We arrived earlier to check in data post cruise and we were upgraded to a suite with a HUGE balcony overlooking the street. The rooms were very clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and clean and really big. The shower was fantastic with two showerheads. There was even a warming towel rack. There was a convenient minibar and safe in the room. A huge sliding door which opened up to the balcony with two nice lawn chairs and a table. There were two computers in the lobby with free internet access and a convinent bar that served well priced drinks and cafe in the morning. Also a large breakfast area with a nice breakfast in the morning. Champagne upon arrival. We stayed during one night when the soccer team won and there were crowds in the streets celebrating but when we shut our double sliding balcony doors we could not hear a thing at night. The staff was really friendly and full of information.

An effients and friendly hotel with all necesarry facilities. The staff is most forthcoming and gave a very good impression. The bar area is not quit up to standard . Breakfast was good, but the coffe could have been stronger. All in alll I was very happy with my stay and would like to come back sometimes soon.
