Excellent location
This hotel was ideally located just off Las Ramblas, within walking distance of the port also. There are some good Irish bars close to the hotel too (George Payne's, Dunne's & McCarthy's). Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Barca on a city break. One thing i would say tho, dont be expecting to use the pool, its a tiny rooftop pool

Excellent hotel in Barcelona
This hotel is in a perfect place to start your Barcelona experience. Down the way from noisy Las Ramblas, the hotel is right around the corner from the main Catedral and a huge plaza. Everything was nearby: shopping, restaurants, touristy spots. The hotel is very modern, the staff was very helpful (since I didn't speak Catalan), and the room was pleasant and quiet. Free internet access was a plus. The restaurant was pricey but there are so many places to eat nearby it didn't matter. Although it's in an alleyway, it was a safe place to walk even near evening hours, when things get going in Spain. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Short walk from hotel
Excellent tapas restaurant just a few steps away from the hotel. Not expensive and delicious. Service a bit slow but that was with all restaurants in the area.

Fantastic location and very modern
The staff at the front desk were excellent, especially [...] who was always friendly and accomodating. Our only complaint was that the cost of the breakfast is way too expensive. Would have eaten at the hotel but felt 18 euros was way too expensive for a continental breakfast. Also, was the first time we have ever had a charge for the coffee in the room! Loved the location. Hotel very modern and clean.

Very close to Las Ramblas - within walking distance to almost everything. Great area to stay.

Short walk from hotel
Definitely dine at the 4 Cats - a few "alleyways" away from the hotel. Picasso designed the original menu for the place in 1898 and no guide books mention this! Plus the food was delicious!
