Sheraton Montazah Hotel

my friend when he was there. He told that, nice view but its need with the offer something else like Breakfast or anything else but its good hotel

I payed good amount of money to have high level service 5 star hotel , but i was not satisfied .. the location and view is great but noisy , poor sound isolation ,, utilities not so fine ..empty mini bar ..no free coffee of tea .. no free WiFi in the room and very expensive ( one day 25 US D ) .. i would not go back

it's nice hotel,but it's location not so good although my room was sea view , i have to across the street to go to the beach

Once we got over the mad mad traffic (you do get used to it) we had a great time at the hotel. Conveniently located and just accross (a very busy) the road from the beach. I wouldnt choose this as a holiday location but for our purposes both the staff and hotel were fabulous... only negative was that the rooms arent very large but suited our purposes and would go back.

The location is excellent which is walking distance to the beach and the Montazah and also the supermarket. Beside that the mosque is not very far too. The check in staff was very cooperative and trying their best to accommodate my request for seaview room although my original booking was unknown the status. Food pricing I can consider as reasonable but in my humble opinion you should provide the electrical kettle for the customer convince upon request.

The hotel was very nice. There were several restaurants to choose from on site and many other places to eat within walking distance. The hotel is at the far eastern end of the Corniche so it is a bit of a distance from Railway station and airport. We came to go to the under 20 World Cup and hired a van to take us to the game, brought our driver to the match with us so as not to lose him. What a fantastic opening that was. We were able to put that whole thing together thanks to [...], a concierge employee who went out of his way to help us any time we needed it. He was a superb addition to the staff at this Sheraton. The fact that we booked on Orbitz saved us A LOT of money. We traveled with another couple up from Cairo and they went through a travel agent and they paid 80$US a night more than we did. Too bad they thought using a travel agent was a good idea. I love the internet travel options and have always had a truly great experience with Orbitz. Egypt is a country with a lot of friendly people however the language barrier can be a bit overwhelming. You really need to make sure that all of the details are determined before doing anything. This includes taxi fares, cost of a camel ride or any other tourist type experience. Make your deal BEFORE you engage in an activity.We absolutely loved the Sheraton. The hotel was in great condition. There is a pool but we used the beach just across the street. They provided a crossing guard as crossing any street in a city in Egypt is a major experience that has to be seen to be believed...it seems as though people are speeding up just to try and hit you, pedestrians DO NOT have the right of way. Also, if it is a 6 lane road, 3 each way, you can expect cars to be 5 abreast on each side making it necessary to actually avoid 10 cars to cross...Be CAREFUL!This is a non-drinking society so at least these drivers are sober for the most part!Enjoy your trip, we did.Expat living in Cairo on holiday in Alexandria

Very friendly staff. Good place to stay. I do recommend it for the price I got $70.
