Holiday Inn Express BRUSSELS AIRPORT

I frequent this hotel because of it's location and room price. Last few stays have had unreliable or unavailable Internet access. This stay reinforced that trend. Wired access was down for the first few days. Wireless was weak in the room but acceptable in the lobby. Staff provided free wireless acccess codes while the wired access was unavailable.

the internet connection was only free in the lobby, for less than an hour each time you log in which is not convenient.

The bottom line was there was only one person taking care of everything, reception, check in/check out, bartending, answering customer concerns, etc. Only recommendation for dinner was nearby Holiday Inn with a very limited menu and poor service.

Staff was friendly.Good price for neighborhood. As a layover hotel traveling thru BRU can recommend.

When I arrived in the evening there were no lights on the front entrance or outside.There was inside the lobby. To walk to the HI where you can eat next door was a dark path. Breakfast service was good. The room was small and the walls paper thin. My neighbors talked non-stop one night and the other guests in that room got into an argument at 5am, I could hear every breath. I felt uncomfortable. It did not feel safe. The halls exited immediately to an outside stairwell. Do not jump on the bed as you may bounce out of the window, kind of like a drum top. It was very clean. The staff was for the most part very nice and efficient. It was conveniently located, but so are other hotels that I will stay at next time. I was there for 3 days!!!!

Great place to get a good night sleep before flying home. Excellent breakfast. No choices for dinner, but larger Holiday Inn next door, just a little spendy for a quick meal.

My stay was only an overnight stay and because I had to catch an early flight the next day, I just needed a comfortable bed and a roof over my head. That is what I got. I wish I had known the shuttle schedule to the hotel from the airport earlier. I could've avoided the 18 Euro taxi drive. Otherwise, the shuttle leaving from the hotel to the airport the following morning was prompt.

The Express by Holiday Inn Brussels Airport was very convenient to Brussels International Airport, and the free shuttle between the hotel and airport made it easy to get to the airport and to the city center (via the train that stops right at the airport near the shuttle bus drop off). The room was very clean and comfortbale, and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Great continental breakfast in the morning, too!
