Four Points by Sheraton Brussels

I had a wonderful stay with Four Points Sheraton Brussels, the front desk staff, particularly the managers are very helpful and caring. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. The location is quite convenient-only 3-5 minutes to trams and bus, and metro is only 3 tram stops away. General surrounding are nice, clean and safe.

Comfortable room with all features you would expect of a good middle class hotel. The location is excellent. Choice of interior colors is a little bit "odd", but that does by no means impact the functionality and comfort level. Will come again.

This hotel is tucked away on a quiet side street right off the major road and near everything. Service was good and the room was very clean and comfortable.

On a business trip of two nights, I stayed at this hotel. The room was very clean. There were two problems with the room: the high speed cable internet was slow, and someone had left the room safe open but with the bars out. I reported both, and the safe was fixed when I came back later that day (which is what I had asked for). Instead of using the cable internet I then used the wifi, same price, and it worked fine. This is a good and quiet location, in an area with many nice casual restaurants and shopping. Excellent tram connections.

I don't normally write reviews, but I have to do it this time to make sure other travelers do not stay at this hotel. The pictures shown are not a true reflection of the actual room I was put into. The hotel bear the name of Sheraton. Granted it was not the high end Sheraton but Four Point, it should not be as ill maintained and poorly furnished as this one. Just imagine doing a slight renovation to an old Best Western or Travel Lodge hotel with the hotel lobby/bar area looking a little better. the room has old carpeting, very old and unappealing furnitures, the bath room was tiny and low end. Just not what you would expect or pay the kind of price for.

The hotel was everything we expected it to be. We got a room on the top floor and had a spectacular view over the rooftops of Brussels. Our stay was very enjoyable. With the streetcar it took only about 10 minutes to get to the city center.

The area immediately surrounding the hotel is a little old and run-down, however it is only a 5 minute walk from a plaza with decent restaurants. The hotel and rooms themselves were nice although breakfast and internet were extra (European standard). The hotel restaurant was closed the weekend I stayed there. The hotel has a small parking garage for 16 Euro a day or parking is available on the street. A walk from the hotel to downtown Brussels is a minimum of 30 minutes and can be somewhat confusing.
