Het Gheestelic Hof Hotel Bruges

This was, without doubt, a) the worst hotel I have ever set foot in and b) the worst I have ever been treated. The Hotel room was awful. Cramped, dark, smelt bad, grubby, poorly furnished. The manager was aggressive and refused to believe she could ever be in the wrong. The room was mis-sold to me. Do not go here. There are many hotels in Bruges and I stayed, after this nightmare, in a beautiful hotel which was wonderfully romantic at a much lower price. From the outside this looks nice. From the inside it looks and feels like a badly run down motel. If the atmosphere and state of the furnishings are not bad enough to convince you to leave the hygiene and smell will be. Take your money elsewhere. There is so much better than this ghastly place.

This hotel is run by the 4 star hotel across the street. Make sure you call ahead for reserved parking for 25euros per night. That's a steal compared to other parking in the city. This hotel is 10 minutes walk to the bell tower and 5 minutes to our lady church and 5 minutes to shopping. Our room was small but functional. The facitities were clean and comfortable. I would go back for the location alone. Bruges is a beautiful city, you won't be disappointed with this one. Wifi is available for an hourly or daily fee although we didn't use it. The train station is a little bit of a haul so take the bus or get a taxi, I'd walk it if I had light luggage and it was nice outside. Great trip, I will be back.

Brugges is lovely, and if money is no object you can spend several days wondering around its interesting streets. If you have better things to do with your money, you can see it in just one day. It is a very pricey city.

This hotel has a fantastic central location. It appears this hotel is jointly owned by the four-star hotel across the street, and the workers pay relatively little attention to this smaller hotel. [...] Despite the fact that [...] advertises parking at the location, I would have had to call ahead to reserve a space. My colleague and I had to park our car in the station parking deck along the city ring, which was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. After we checked out though, the hotel was accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage in a locked closet by the front desk while we roamed the rest of the city. The bathroom was clean enough (I did notice a little scum in the toothbrush cup, which I wouldn't have used anyway) and the bed was comfortable. The window of the room overlooked a cute little garden. Overall, it was an excellent location and very cheap. This place would be great for someone who wants a step or two up from a hostel but doesn't care to have all the fancy-schmancy treatments from a nice hotel.

朝食付きであることを前提にブルージュでのホテル探しをしたところ、他の方のコメントで朝食が良いようでしたので、このホテルに決めました。朝食は向いにある同じオーナーが経営する４星ホテルでの朝食で、簡素ながら気持ちよくいただけました。部屋自体は特に可もなく、不可もなく、という感じでした。ただ、部屋までとにかく階段＋段差が多いホテルなので、大きなトランクなどを持っている方には不向きに思いました。
