Staff and Location Excellent
I went to Vienna for a vacation and to purchase equipment I needed for my business. The staff did everything possible to find the store I needed, to hiring a taxi and even storing the large items in a secure room downstairs. I noticed they helped everyone asking for assistance. A couple, not staying at the hotel needed to find a house and they gave them a map and showed them how to get there. I was so impressed with this hotel that I will only stay there when I return.

Short walk from hotel
This hotel is located at the Center of Vienna and you can find almost anything you need. I needed to make purchases for my business so I needed to leave this area and shop at hardware stores. These stores were cheaper. Also, a market is very close and it you want to save money on drinks I advise you to buy from them.

Ein tolles Hotel direkt im Zentrum von Wien. Sehr nettes Personal und das Frühstück ist nahezu perfekt. Es ist ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und ich komme sicher wieder.

Good location, poor room
What attracted me to this hotel was the location (unbeatable; 2 minutes from St. Stephen's). The room I was given was in the center of the building; the only window in the room was frosted and looked onto a small shaft, as did the window in the bathroom. Other than that, the room was fairly normal, with a decent bed, TV, closets, etc. Breakfast and service in general were average.

Short walk from hotel
Stephanplatz is about a 2 minute walk away, and the cathedral is well worth a visit. Tours are available in English and the catacombs are quite interesting. Most other attractions in Vienna are easily accessible from the U-Bahn (subway) or trams, so get yourself a map and an unlimited tourist pass.

Wonderful Hotel in Vienna...No Joke
This hotel is great!!! I would suggest to anyone visiting Vienna. It is situated right near the center of town. The hotel rooms were VERY clean and quiet after a long day of touring. The bathrooms (showers) were quite large and newly renovated. The staff was wonderful and spoke English; also provided information to assist with the visit. The breakfast was included and very delicious--European breakfast foods.

Short walk from hotel
I went to visit the Schmetterlinghaus (Butterfly Glasshouse). But was able to visit all the sites of the city because the hotel was quite close to the shopping, entertainment, and food. Take a ride in a horsedrawn carriage through Vienna; provides a wonderful view of historical sites in the city.

What a perfect place to stay in Vienna
The location, ambience, and staff at the Kaiserin couldn't be better. You will enjoy your stay in Vienna even more by staying there! The staff is always available to answer questions or help you make decisions about what to see and where to eat and secure concert tickets. Rooms are extremely quiet and always spotless! I did miss scrambled eggs (not offered every morning) but everything else was perfect. I will stay there everytime I go to Vienna

Great location for seeing Vienna
The hotel was located 2 minutes from the cathedral and in the heart of the shopping district. There were numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel was amazingly clean and well maintained. Good value for the money.
