VERY GOOD AND CLEAN HOTEL. LOCATION IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE ST. STEPHAN CATHEDRAL. INTERNET ON A SLOW SIDE BUT ENOUGH TO USE SKYPE.

A great deal for a Thanksgiving weekend
The location is simply great: It's within a few minutes' walk from Karlsplatz and Kettenbruckengasse U-Bahn (subway) stations. What's more important, it is located in the city center, so all places of interest are within close reach. The farthest of them, the Schonbrunn Palace, was just 5 subway stations (or 15 minutes) away. The room was very clean, and all services were prompt. The bar was working fairly late. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Excellent Customer Service
My [...]booking was NOT for a triple, but hotel upgraded to great suite with two rooms to accomodate us and our 13 year old daughter. She was thrilled with having her own space for a while!General Manager joined us on outside terrace and made site seeing recommendations and restaurant recommendations for us. Hotel is in good location, you can walk to downtown, but it is long walk. I would recommend using metro which is 3 blocks about 10 min walk.Cons: No laundry facilities.

Great value
We were in the city for 2 days. Staying in the inner stadt was out of the question with the prices. We chose this holiday inn which is a bout 3 min walk to the nearest station and one stop away from all the sites. It was completely safe we had no issues walking back in the middle of the night, 1-2am. Great value for the price.

Delightful Hotel in Delightful Area
A small, quiet hotel, it's decor is unpretentious, crisp and pleasant. The main floor is clean and well-lighted. The hotel is located five minutes by foot from the subway, Naschmarkt, good restaurants, excellent bakery, and a supermarket. Our room was small but not cramped, and it was beautifully maintained by the chambermaid. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was scrubbed daily, and all appliances functioned flawlessly. Although we were located next to the elevator, we heard no noise at all. The staff spoke flawless English and were unfailingly helpful and pleasant. Our stay was for thirteen days--we had family to visit in Vienna-- and the hotel proved to be ideal for us in every way.

Holiday Inn Vienna City
We couldn't have asked for a better hotel or a more friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable beds. The only negative was the high priced breakfast, but there are plenty of alternatives nearby. The neighborhood even had 2 supermarkets nearby. Vienna was wonderful.

Short walk from hotel
The Burg Ring was a 10 minute walk away and all the major attractions were within walking distance or easily accessible by the excellent public transportation system.

Perfect hotel
the hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant food and staff was also great. The location was excellent. The metro stop was around the corner a block away. There were many walkable sights within l5 minute walk. St. Stephandom s the Belevedere Castle were very walkable. We spent most of the time sightseeing and in museums and castle. The Food was very good and were able to eat outside most of the time.
