Castlereagh Boutique Hotel Sydney

We stayed 2 nights. Old age charm in this hotel/building. GREAT location, Bridge, Opera house, Rocks, Chinatown, Paddys Market, Star casino and Darling harbor ALL within 20 odd min walk. Rooms are small but offered what we needed, secure hotel with clean bathroom. Friendly staff @ front desk. We would stay again - for convenience not luxury.

Amazing location, however our sheets had a burn mark in them (although the hotel is non-smoking?), very small room but that was expected. Staff were friendly. Internet is not included and comes at a cost. The restaurant was not open for dinner. Very loud construction every morning starting before 7am.

Excellent location for shopping. Beautiful character building and a refreshing change from the usual hotels. Room was old and bathroom needed modernising but very clean. No window so would request a room with a window if staying more than a night. Building work next-door very noisy but stopped at 5pm; restarted at 7am which acted as our alarm clock! Desk staff very helpful, providing early check-in and late check-out. We would definitely stay again when shopping in Sydney.

Very handy to everything Staff friendly however sent us to internet cafe to confirm flights - thought they might have done it for us Couldnt upgrade as they were full - staff did check so that was nice Bar has the cheapest drinks in town This is the second time we have stayed here and would stay again

It was a very enjoyable stay. Staff was very helpfull and full of hints on how to get around Sydney,and what to see. I certainly stay there again and recommend it to my family and friends.

It is quite good considering the low price, the location is verygood, very near the TV tower, and can easy get to darling harbour , hyde park, opera house by walk. Tbe bed is very narrow in twin room, and the toilet is very small and quite old.

Found this hotel very ideally situated to everything. Close to all the shops and also the trains. Hotel was very nice and clean and staff were always courteous and helpful. Little bit noisy as can hear people walking down corridor and entering their rooms etc and talking in wee hours of morning as they arrived home and also hear people in bathroom next door when they use their facilities but if you shut the door it will cut out the noise. Would recommend this hotel to others and am quite happy to stay there again when next in Sydney.

harbour bridge opera house ferry rides round sydney harbour everything expensive, taxi, food, drink, careful using credit card extra fees applied on every purchase. see things you can't see anywhere else in the world. great barrier reef,koala's,just be prepared for long flight and pay 2x or 3x what you pay at home.best western hotel in cairns poor, formula one hotels nothing to write home about.
